Using the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict mode questionnaire has been an illuminating experience that provided new ways of handling conflict. A lot of opposition from local businesses and a community organization. An effective approach to dealing with the issue is ensure that all opposition concerns are addressed and taken into account. In this regard, the issue of fighting, drug abuse, diseases, and bed bugs greatly affects the opposing community association. Therefore, the personnel involved in building the shelter will look to provide a credible intervention that will address this issue. The opposing community association should show members that the shelter is a necessary approach to dealing with all the issues that they fear. In this case, there will be less fighting when the shelter is built as the homeless will receive a safe and healthy environment for sleeping. Additionally, the shelter will create numerous jobs for the locals who will help in ensuring high levels of sanitation and eliminate cases of drug abuse.
