I view that there are stages of organizational socialization in the model that are missing. The three stages provided are based on linear forms of adjustment that affect socialization. The model needs to also explore the range of individual adjustment processes by including stages such as reevaluation. The stage will facilitate recognizing and shaping pathways that can allow for a dynamic socialization process. The incorporation of stages like reevaluation allows for the development of pathways that contributes to a better rationale for socialization, especially among those who fail to adapt to organizational culture.
