Tupac Shakur is the rapper of the hit song Ghetto Gospel. In this song Tupac shows the brokenness and the pain children go through while in the streets. However, he encourages them to have a vision of a better tomorrow. Undeniably, most of the youths struggle for survival in the streets. Unfortunately, they always engage themselves in selling of drugs, formation of gang groups and committing of violence. Evidently, the likelihood of violence is likely to increase as a result of unemployment of many youths .Most of them are more than willing to engage in violence to improve their standard of living. More so, the frequency of violence increases in neighborhoods where the youths engage in drug selling and formation of gang groups (Bellair , & McNulty, 2009).

Therefore, in the song Tupac encourages these youths to set their lives free by recognizing the existence of God. He let them know that the world can be set free of all the troubles by God. They can equally live a life with no oppression by turning and believing in God.

Moreover, Tupac addresses the unmoral situations the children go through in their tender age. These children are forced to make life changing decisions at this tender age and this is significantly affecting their lives. Therefore, he calls for unity among all people for the purpose of building bridges rather than condemning one another. Undeniably, being unified is refreshing, fulfilling, appealing, and pleasing. As a result, everyone receives blessings from the God when they work together in unity ( Constantineanu, 2016).

Furthermore, the children in the street are faced with injustice. They are not protected in any way from violence. Therefore, Tupac calls for everyone to be a keeper of each other. Additionally, the possibility of mending of all the troubles and brokenness of the world is through having faith in God. Notably, God ensures he instills humility, integrity, sensitivity, patience, and love among his people. Therefore, these virtues enable people handle tough situations in life without despair (Fairbanks & Verses, 2007).
