We were all assembled by 10:30 a.m. for the event which was led by Matthew Daintrey-Hall for the introduction part of the programme. During the segment, we were first introduced to the study by defining the UK cinema and the impression we had of the last British film we watched. The study’s main objective was to help us in analysing the UK Cinema and its remarkable success in the film industry.
This led to the question; why everyone both local and international liked the UK Cinema. This was done by examining the appeal factors used by the filmmakers to attract these audiences. Among the case studies used were the successful production companies such as WARP Films which have maintained the use of Britishness and inclusion of themes hardly used in Hollywood but still record great successes.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Some the stated reasons why people enjoyed British films were their informative nature, which included historical facts, royalty and literary information which targeted all audiences including the international audience. Another reason was the representation of the British culture which instills national pride and identity for the Britons. Lastly, they never fail to entertain.
We went for a lunch break a few minutes past noon and later went in for the screening of the Ghost Stories which was terrifying for some of the students. Soon afterward we went in for a Q&A session with the writers Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson which was a major highlight for us getting to meet the co-founders of WARP Films. They interacted with us for over an hour and we got to learn a lot more about the position of the UK cinema and their expectations for the industry in future.
