If you could ask Guru Gobind Singh just one thing, what would it be?
Do you think the United States government was justified in stereotyping all Sikhs as terrorists who instigated the 9/11 attacks?
Explain why you chose this particular question.
I choose this particular question because I want to elucidate his stand and opinion of the U.S. government in accusing and persecuting the Sikh community. This question elicits emotions that compel the respondent to provide the correct opinion on the issue, based on social constructs and their understanding of the United States Constitution and international human rights conventions.

Based on an Internet search of his writings, extrapolate his reply to your question.
The government was misinformed in accusing and targeting the Sikhs as the proprietors and perpetrators of the terror attacks. While it is common knowledge that the attacks were carried out by terror organizations mainly of the Muslim community, not all non-native Americans were responsible for the attacks. People ought to be judged and condemned individually when they are found culpable or guilty of certain accusations. Targeting a whole community is a violation of the Civil Rights Act and is against the United Nations Human Rights Commission statutes (Gumbel, 2018).
Explain why you believe his answer would be as you have presented it.
Guru Singh’s answer would be as I presented based on the outcry and revolt that followed the government’s actions against the Sikh’s. Rampant activism ensued following the mass persecution of the Sikh’s, in which the activists and the public at large decried the government’s violation of human rights. Bigotry and intolerance against the Americans with turbans were met with harsh criticism not only from the Sikh community but also other liberal Americans and the international community opposed to the inhuman acts. The Sikh’s were angered, and the anger and bitterness still live 17 years later.
Do you think Guru Singh’s reply, as you have presented it, is the kind of answer most people would accept? Why or why not?
Most people would accept Guru Singh’s response as presented. The importance of upholding civil and human rights is at the center stage of global focus in the contemporary world. Most people are against undermining and people and segregation based on race or ethnicity. Collective punishment of a society based on an action presumed or confirmed to be the undertaking of some members of the particular community is vehemently condoned by most people.
