For a long time, I used OpenOffice Writer as my go to word-processing program. This program has always worked perfectly for me because I have been working on small documents that do not require much editing. However, I recently started a community self-help group, and I usually find myself having to create very large documents like proposals and business plans. At this point, I started experiencing the downsides of OpenOffice Writer, which takes a long time to launch and open documents that are too large. I am forever thankful for the day I stumbled across Word 2016 because it has made my life 100 percent easier!
One of the things that I really love about Word 2016 is its Ribbon, which is cleaner, flatter-looking, and less cluttered compared to OpenOffice Writer. I love the fact that the display of the Ribbon has multiple options such as: Auto-hide Ribbon , Show Tabs , and Show Tabs and Commands . With these functionalities, you get to set the appearance of the Ribbon as desired. Besides, you can customize the title bar to blue, black, white, or gray. How cool is that! Besides, there is the Activity button, which appears next to the Share button when you are working on a document that you have saved in SharePoint or OneDrive. It is great that a single click on the Activity button allows you to view all the changes that have been made on the document, when the changes were made, and who made them.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Besides all these amazing features, the one function that I feel will be key in improving my documents is the fact that Word 2016 allows for real-time collaboration. It will now be possible for me to work on a document together with the other members of the community self-help group. The only requirement is that we are all logged into our Office 365 or Microsoft account and that the document be stored in SharePoint Online, OneDrive, or OneDrive for Business.
