The United States of America has dependably been a one of a kind spot. It is a nation that always shows signs of change since it welcomes new thoughts and ideas and gives them room to develop. Indeed, changes that originate from America are rehashed everywhere throughout the world. America has been a rearing ground for technological revolutions. Technological innovations have changed American life over and over throughout its history. Part of these advancements has been in the fields of medicine, transportation, weaponry, education, and communication. These revolutions have transformed the United States into the spot it is today, and truth be told, the U.S has brought tremendous changes to the world. This paper examines what has transpired in the U.S since the era of the technological revolution.
Many Americans will forever recall the 20 th century as it is associated with the "Technological Revolution." Modern Capitalism which found its introduction to the world in the nineteenth century in England eventually spread all over Western Europe and America and later on became obsolete a type of large scale manufacturing ( Cowan, 2018) . What was known as the "Industrial Revolution" reached its conservative and sociological demise. The technological revolution created a new social order.

According to Cowan (2018), the technological revolution in the United States has been a huge spot and improvement in transportation which has been vital to the advancement of business activities, and way of life of all Americans. A standout amongst the most revolutionizing transportation innovations was the train. The train business was extremely fruitful at making employment and invigorating the American economy (Smith et al., 2017). It additionally changed the interior trade enabling organizations and businesses to pitch to the entire country in revolutionizing new speed. One farm could transport produce for the whole nation. Lands that were rich in nutrients could be used to cultivate all sorts of foodstuffs and to the maximum. Besides, the introduction of the train changed the Americans’ way of life on the grounds it practically made it possible to travel throughout the country. This enabled the gold rush to happen, and within no time high numbers of individuals moved towards the west coast. As a result, people’s culture changed as they met new individuals with different thoughts. Another significant innovation in transportation that greatly changed America was Henry Ford's Model T (Smith et al., 2017). This innovation was most revolutionizing in the manner it influenced the industry. Previously, vehicles were not popular due to their high prices, yet Ford changed that with the use of mechanical production systems and interchangeable parts.
As the country rebuilt itself after several years after the Civil War, the revolution of an electrical system would change the country considerably more quickly than railways had. Expanding on the work done principally by a British creator, Thomas Edison licensed the world's first pragmatic brilliant light in 1879 ( Cowan, 2018) . Direct current transmission became rampant during the technological revolution, which couldn't send power over short separations. George Westinghouse, Edison's business rival, advanced exchanging flow (AC) transmission transformer innovation and built up an adversary electrical system ( Smith et al., 2017 ). Frequently, similar shafts supporting the new electrical lines that bolstered lines for further development of the telephone line. The telephone which was spearheaded by Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Edison was revealed in 1876when the US was holding its 100th birthday celebration. These advancements added to urbanization as new industries pulled people from remote areas to cities. As the American Industrial Revolution propelled, metallurgists created compounds making steel significantly more grounded, enabling for the construction of the first skyscraper in 1885 in Chicago (Burchinal, 2017).
Better and new medical discoveries in America continued to impact life and culture. The production of anti-infection agents was revolutionary. "Between 1945and 1973, the life expectancy of human rose by eight years an expansion generally credited to the revolution of antibiotics" (Burchinal, 2017). Since the 1930s, antibiotics have spared several lives. Antibiotics are a medication that eliminates microorganisms, which cause maladies that before the innovation of anti-toxins were a standout amongst the most widely recognized reasons for death. Organizations that provided antibiotics were real moneymakers at the time since they were significant to survival. Antibiotics made life longer and more tranquil on the grounds individuals did not have any stress over bacterial contaminations.
As the revolution in medicine changed the culture of the American people, grandparents became more and familiar. This prompted a somewhat changed and bigger family structures, which were great. Another significant technological revolution that changed America is the discovery of vaccination. After noticing that farmers could contract cowpox, Edward Jenner made it possible to deliver a valid vaccine that was used in ranches ( Stone, 2015) . This idea prompted the first utilization of immunization when he vaccinated a ranch kid with cowpox it, later on, spread to all parts of America and the rest of the world. Through this innovation, several other vaccinations of other viruses have been produced
Communication is the other area that greatly revolutionized during the 20 th century. Before this revolution, a letter from the New York City to Sacramento would take a very long time to be delivered by bus or horse, but at this point, it would take just seconds to send by email ( Stone, 2015) . The migration was not sudden. It required several technological revolutions to make the communication system even stronger. The first innovation was telegraph which sent messages via electrical wires with electrical impulses in Morse code. The message would go through the wires until it reached the recipient who at that point decoded it. It couldn't convey sounds or pictures. However it was progressive in the manner it changed correspondence in America. Alexander Graham Bell changed the world completely as he made the telegraph a thing of the past when he expressed himself in the form of sound, hence signaling the discovery of a telephone that sent a message through the use of electric wires as he heard himself on the opposite side. On July of 1877, the Bell Telephone Company was created (Burchinal, 2017). From that point on the world had long distance correspondence by phone and on April 3, 1973, Martin Cooper made and showed a working cell phone, the Motorola Dyna-Tac.
The other area that technological revolution has played is in the warfare and weaponry of America. Since the 20 th century, America has been the center for new ideas and is allowed to materialize. America's first significant military development was the development of a machine gun. In 1861, the American Doctor Richard Gatling designed the Gatling firearm, a six-dashed weapon equipped for firing 200 rounds for every minute. This changed how the war would be battled for eternity in America ( Stone, 2015) . The new methods for battling changed drastically. In trench warfare, machines were used, and they were found to be appropriate. Another technological advancement in the U.S was experienced in nuclear weapons which later dropped in Nagasaki and Hiroshima killing over 150,000 people instantly.
In conclusion, this paper has addressed how the technological revolution has shaped the history of America in four major areas; communication, warfare, medicine, and transportation. In each section, technology has led to different revolutions and has changed the U.S history slowly into what it is today. The medicine helped to change herbs into vaccinations and antibiotics which have saved both people and animal lives. Life expectancy has also increased. In terms of communication, the speed of information delivery has become efficient. In general, the technological revolution has done tremendous work shaping the history of America.
