Nurse i nformaticist primary role is to integrate their nursing capabilities with practical knowledge to develop systems that can enhance the patient's quality of care. With the emergence of computer-assisted coding and electronic medical records, the role of nursing informatics is gradually becoming relevant. Kennedy and Moen ( 2017) maintained that it is a field that requires dedicated IT professions who know advanced tech and medicine. The career is centered on patient data that is integrated with enhancing patient care. Information gained is essential in evidence-based practice, guiding a nurse on the best route to address a health issue.

As a nurse informaticist I will have to possess technical knowledge of data management, communication skills, management ability, clinical expertise, and strong interpersonal skills. Other core competencies include teaching ability, good organization, problem-solving, and robust information retention. These will be critical for the capture and management of patient data. Clinical expertise and innovative thinking are essential for patient satisfaction ( Kennedy & Moen, 2017). Proper organizational management will be significant towards patient-centered delivery, timely and efficient quality care. Patient satisfaction experiences will also be enhanced by relying on the nurse informatics ability to affect clinical outcomes such as problem solving and technical expertise in handling patient data. satisfactory surveys are essential in determining any improvement that should be done. It also helps establish effectiveness of the evidence-based practice applied.

The role of nurse informatics is critical in providing supporting information retention and in utilizing analytical thinking to handle patient data. For example, nurse informatics will provide support by deploying user-friendly tools and strategies towards preparing a fitting learning experience for students. By employing evidence-based practice, the nurse informatics will be dedicated to offering high-quality patient care by the effective management of systems and data ( Collins, Yen, Phillips, & Kennedy, 2017) . For example, nurse informatics will use a questionnaire survey to link clinical decisions for a better understanding of the students. It is this critical for the nurse informatics to be in a position to train the nursing students on the latest technologies for the best patient-centered care results. The nurse informatics will, after that, serve as the core center of the entire system in place for the students.
