Being virtuous translates to standing up against injustices once one establishes a wrong has been done. Virtuous individuals do not let their affiliations stand in the way of their judgment. Finally, being a virtuous means that one is independent. That is, they are in a position to make their own choices without the influence of external forces. The person does not just do what others do, but questions why some things are done in specific ways before making their own decision.
