I often find myself staying awake through the night due to a wide array of problems or perspectives that I consider as weighing down on me in a significant way. For example, I always stay awake with thoughts of mistakes that I have made in the past and how these mistakes have led me to where I am today. I always try to imagine a scenario where the mistakes that I made in the past did not happen with the aim being towards trying to determine how my life would have been moving into the future. I tend to believe that this is yesterday’s junk that affects the way I take my tomorrow. In some cases, I experience low morale attributed to the fact that I always consider my mistakes as having weighed down on me in a manner that affects my ability to make effective decisions towards my future.

The Holy Spirit has been able to address a piece of junk, specifically relating to the challenges that one often encounters on matters of past mistakes, by highlighting that one’s mistakes do not matter. The Holy Spirit helps in providing people with a sense of calmness that would allow them to reflect on their future rather than having to consider the mistakes that they have made in the past. In my case, I would say that the Holy Spirit has been of great value in allowing me to come to terms with the mistakes that I find myself making. I tend to believe that the relationship that I have created with the Holy Spirit allows me to feel the relaxation that comes from God regardless of the fact that sometime I often consider myself of not being worth forgiveness or relaxation.
