A culture of safety in healthcare serves the purpose of reducing errors as well as preventing the same errors from occurring. Additionally, a culture of safety in healthcare is necessary considering that it is essential in the in improving the overall quality of healthcare. For these reasons, a culture of safety should be introduced and sustained in any healthcare system. A culture of safety refers to policies and organizational practices that are aimed at prioritizing and emphasizing adoption of safety. Therefore, a culture of safety deals with the prevention and reduction of errors. Analysis of healthcare safety involves ascertaining behaviors that can be introduced within clinical practices to enhance a culture of safety. 

Development of safety policies or rather policies that advocate for safety can be one initiative towards enhancing a culture of safety. These policies can go a long way into influencing organizational behavior in that clinicians can adopt and incorporate safety practices thus sustaining a culture of safety (Ammouri, Tailakh, Muliira, Geethakrishnan, & Al Kindi, 2015). In addition to the above, training staff and employees on a regular basis on safety practices as they deliver their tasks could be effective towards enhancing a culture of safety. In detail, the staff at medical facilities need to be trained on a regular basis on safety practices. Safety policies and safety practices are regularly changing and there is a need to adapt to the ever-evolving needs of patients. As a result, the staff at medical facilities should receive orientation training that will be followed by consistent training.

Developing an error-reporting system that can be useful in reminding clinicians about patient system designs which they can regularly use and incorporate as they go about their activities. Error-reporting systems are useful when it comes to the development of easy to implement and sustainable patient safety designs (Ammouri et al., 2015). These designs are the ones that can be used towards enhancing a culture of safety. 

Conclusively, a safety of culture needs to be enhanced and sustained in health care. Moreover, practices and initiatives that enhance the culture of safety also need to be developed and adopted. It is the case since a culture of safety plays the crucial role in improving the well-being of patients and the effectiveness of task delivery by caregivers.
