Hilton is one of the leading brands in the globe in the hospitality industry. The company has numerous world-class properties all over the globe, which offer hospitality services to millions of customers. The company has 18 brands under its name and has a presence in one hundred and eighteen (118) countries around the world. Statistically, the company operates more than six thousand, one hundred (6,100) properties worldwide as per the information posted on its website, a notable footprint for a hospitality company. Since its founding, the company has realized significant growth and one of the best companies anyone can work for. 

Working for Hilton is quite fulfilling and is so far the best place to work. According to Fortune 100 best companies to work for 2019 statistics, Hilton was ranked the best company to work for, being ranked number one, ahead of several leading global brands. Further, employee feedbacks published in the ‘Great Place to Work’ website indicate a large percentage of Hilton employees are happy to work at the global brand, with 96% of the employees indicating that they were satisfied and proud working with the company (Great Place to Work, 2020). Working environment 

The working environment is also an essential factor in determining if a company is ideal for working with. The working environment provides employees with ideal working spaces. Hilton has taken much consideration to ensure that all employees have safe and perfect physical working environments for its employees across its facilities around the globe (Dardeer, Tag-Eldeen, & Salem, 2017). Studies have evidenced that Hilton does mind not only the facilities for its customers but also the working environments and infrastructure of its employees. 

Diversity and inclusion 

Being a global brand, the Hilton team is comprised of employees from diverse backgrounds, countries, and cultures. The company's success is pegged on its employee diversity and the policy to treat every employee regardless of the position or background equally. In its diversity and inclusion statement, the global giant reiterates its commitment to embracing diversity and inclusion in its team, starting from the top leadership (Hilton, 2019).

The company has a modern call centre that is dedicated to serve its customers and attend to any arising issues. The company also uses information technology for its operations, making it easier for employees to perform their duties effectively, hence, appealing for employees to work with the company. 

Ethics and morality 

Every member of the Hilton team is required to adhere to the highest ethical standards as per the company’s code of conduct. One is expected to do the right thing whenever acting on behalf of the company. The company is strict on compliance with corporate ethics, and it has been recognized globally for its efforts in these ethical aspects (Johnston, 2019). The company is also renowned for its high moral standards, which are engraved in the company through its values and practices. Consequently, these factors make Hilton the best company to work with for any employee. 

Impact of Hilton practices and policies 

The company policies have had a significant influence on both individual and organizational outcomes. The company’s practices and policies on diversity and inclusion ensure that it hires the best personnel into its team without discrimination. Inclusion ensures that the company gains optimal results from its employees who do not feel discriminated against. A diverse team often develops new and unique ideas from the brainstorming of ideas from these different backgrounds.

The professional development of employees also benefits the company as the employees apply the acquired skills and knowledge to the company's benefit. Therefore, career development does benefit not only the individual but also the company at large. 

The company utilization of technology in its operations gives employees an easy time to perform their tasks. Further, technology has been proven to increase efficiency in the hospitality industry. For instance, employees can be able to coordinate bookings and hotel transfers through the use of technology. The use of technology at Hilton ensures that the employees perform optimally and are as effective and efficient as possible. This, in turn, increases company productivity and efficiency. 

Employee benefits and remuneration is a motivating factor for employees. Better remuneration for the employees increases job satisfaction, which means that the employees will be highly motivated and more committed to the company (Kionoski, 2016). Other non-monetary benefits offered to employees guarantee the well-being of the employees, increasing employee commitment to the company. This, in turn, helps the company retain productive and motivated employees committed to the company’s objectives. 

The company has keen regard for the employee working environment, which is very critical in employee productivity. The working environment and infrastructure must help the employees to perform their duties comfortably. Hilton ensures that the employees get the best working environments and infrastructure, which significantly increases the employees' productivity, directly improving the company's performance. 

Hilton's ethics and moral standards are highly regarded with employees required to observe a strict code of conduct whenever they are conducting company business. Practices impacting work attitudes affected by diversity in the United States of America 

Organizational practices have a direct impact on work attitudes in the United States of America. Some of these practices are significantly affected by diversity. For instance, organizational inclusion practices strongly affect work attitudes among employees in the United States of America. To address this hurdle, organizations ought to have policies that promote the inclusion of all employees within the organization without discrimination. 

Career progression within an organization also has a direct impact on work attitudes. Consequently, this factor can be affected by diversity. Organizations must give every employee an equal opportunity to advance professionally without discrimination. Organizations can achieve this by having clear guidelines on career progression and organizational policy for equal opportunities for all employees. 

Employee remuneration and benefits also have an impact on employee attitudes in the United States of America. Consequently, employee remuneration can be affected by diversity if the remuneration and benefits of employees are not harmonized. To avoid such instances, organizations should have a clear guideline on the remuneration of employees and benefits entitled to them. This ensures that there is no bias, which may result in discontent and demoralization of employees.

Hilton is the best place to work due to policies and practices that make it ideal for employees. The employees are awarded competitive salaries and other benefits. They are given equal opportunities for professional development and growth, the company's ethical and moral practices are appealing to ethically conscious employees, and the working environment is favourable to the company employees. All the above factors contribute to employee commitment to the organization and job satisfaction. Consequently, working attitudes, such as employee job satisfaction and employee commitment, have a direct impact on employee performance and productivity, which also affects the organization's performance. As a Hilton employee, there is every reason to be committed fully to the company as it is inevitably the best place to work.
