Taking the RN-BSN program entails various practices that revolve around decision making and critical thinking when providing care to patients. This has helped shape my desire to become more knowledgeable in the profession, and as such, has provided me with the necessary plan for my two-five-ten year plan. I intend to enroll for TNCC and CRNN courses in order to be certified within two years after graduation. This is realistic as RN-BSN has laid out a good foundation for further study to gain more expertise. Full-time study will ensure that I complete my studies within the two years. My five year plan is to be an NP, having gained enough knowledge in case management, and ten-year plan is to be a practising NP in the ER. Having specified that I want to be an NP, the studies that I will have gained prior will be useful in making this plan achievable and realistic. The time allocated is enough to ensure that I am able to further my studies and gain professional autonomy (Duffy, Friesen, Speroni, Swengros, Shanks, Weiter, and Sheridan, 2014). It is also measurable, seeing that it
As a result of studying RN-BSN program, I have become more resourceful since I am able to be part of a medical team. I have also gained the desire to be more efficient as a nurse by being able to combine my clinical expertise with knowledge that I have gained within my surrounding (Rosseter, 2014). The attitude of being able to tackle challenging medical cases will help me to enhance my decision making skills as a medical practitioner and this will ensure that I continue to improve the quality of my services over time. My desire to attain professional pride has also driven me to want to further my studies and career height as a nurse to the point where I shall be a practising nurse within the ER.

I have learned that I have the desire to increase my scope of operation and take part in more challenging roles in life as a nurse to fulfill my professional goals (Megginson, 2007).. This has made me more intent on working hard to ensure that I qualify to apply for the TNCC and CCRN courses. I have also improved in my time management as time management, seeing that I intend to take on more complex roles in future. I am now self-driven to become more efficient as a nurse, seeing as the profession is increasingly becoming complex and requires more practice and knowledge. I am also prepared to work on maintaining professional boundaries within the workplace, while being able to effect change while caring for patients.
The RN-BSN program has increased my knowledge base by providing practice and research opportunities. I am increasingly becoming qualified in the nursing profession and as at now, I am able to work as part of a medical team to provide medical care to patients. I am also able to apply scientific reasoning in medical care provision. The program has also enhanced my decision-making skills, thereby increasing my efficiency as a nurse.
