I second government initiatives meant to promote economic growth since they favor all Americans. Construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, for instance, would result in job creation and encourage international trade, leading to eventual growth of the economy. I feel that the electoral college should be abolished, to promote a fair electoral process, where the Americans are allowed to choose the most suitable candidate. The electoral college interferes with voting right since the final decision about the president-elect lies with few members instead of the entire nation. Since the foreigners in the United States are affected by political decisions, they should be allowed to vote. The foreigners have played a significant role in American identity, and voting will promote recognition as part of it. On immigration issues, I do not support building a wall along the southern border. It would be discouraging immigrants, yet the United States is recognized internationally for offering asylum to needy people. I support family safety as a mother, and thus, I recommend restrictions to be implemented on the current process of purchasing guns. In that way, the community will be safe, without fears of people using weapons when angry or for revenge cases.
Different factors influenced my decisions. I am a parent and a mother, and my deepest concerns are ensuring the safety of my children and promoting a better future for them. In the environment change issue, for example, I support participating in international efforts in solving pollution and global warming. In that way, my children will live in a clean environment without problems such as health issues associated with pollution. I support the Democrats' views on creating a better America for the diverse people despite cultural differences. As a woman, I support equal pay for men and women, unlike the Republican system, which supports the superiority of men. The case of Obamacare, for instance, it would benefit most mothers with their children when healthcare services are needed, considering how expensive healthcare has become. My uncle is a Republican, and I have seen him support the passing of controversial laws and policies, such as refusal to support the Affordable Care Act, despite how much it has benefited large groups of people. I do not debate with my uncle about politics. It would result in disagreements at home and family divisions based on political affiliation.

If I were to run for office, it would be to become a judge. As a judge, I would have the power to make the right decisions, and though they may make some people unhappy, the majority would benefit. I would try to find a balance and remain in the law confinements. My decisions may not change the world since other judges may not support everything I decide. However, making the right decisions will benefit certain people and specific cases. My main aim would be promoting justice and righting wrongs. Therefore, I would concentrate on cases where people are treated unfairly based on race, color, ethnicity, gender, or religion. I would aim at promoting equality and doing away with discrimination in society. To be a good judge, I would have to follow the rules myself and make sure that I treat others equally and provide them with equal chances. I will not only be promoting justice and equality; I will be practicing it in real life.
