Since the time I was able to overcome the challenges in my life, I prayed to God to help me understand my purpose in life. Through God, I met Apostle Daniels who has taken me through my salvation journey. I have found my purpose which is bringing people closer to God. So far this year, I am happy to have influenced over 500 people into salvation. I believe that as a chaplain I will even be of many benefits to the army. I love to selflessly serve people and through God and my mentors, I believe I will achieve my dream
One value that I possess that is very essential to the army is loyalty. I want to be loyal to my calling which will enable me to diligently serve as a chaplain to mentor soldiers, the rich, the poor, and all people without discrimination. Duty is also a value that I possess that has much meaning in the army. I feel that it is my duty to serve the people and God. My relationship with God and having worked in the military for fifteen years has equipped me enough to work as a chaplain in the army. The Bible reminds us of the need to be of purpose to others through the book of 1st John 4:8 which states that God is love and thus by showing it to others we become a source of hope. I want to inspire and give hope to all who have given up on their lives.
