I must admit that writing has been one of the hardest things in my life ever since I was in junior high school. I still recall those days when my compositions were full of grammar mistakes, poor sentence formation and a weak word and sentence structure. There were numerous mistakes in the sentence and word flow. Up to date I still struggle with the same problem in that I have never gotten a chance to improve my writing skills and the communication skills personally. Some of the jobs that I do is writing memos, short emails to various clients and a few of my friends and a few sentiments that I share with my friends on social media platforms. This alone is not enough for me to better my writing and communication skills and that takes me back to my main reason and my ultimate goal of achieving grammatically correct sentences that are structured in better flows that makes sense both grammatically and linguistically. The urge to better my writing and communication skills has seen me read more articles regarding writing tips and better communication skills. I have also extended my study to various literature books on how to formulate proper sentences structures. It has been of great importance in that I have been realizing a positive change when it comes to my writing and communication skills ( Givón, 2014).

One of the major problems I would like to address in connection with my local community is something that pains me a lot when the thought of it crosses my mind. Not long ago an over speeding van lost control and run over ten school children who were walking down the road on their way to school. No kid was spared, and all of them lost their dear lives to that grisly road accident. The part that pained the most was that out of the ten young souls one of them was my niece and the other was my younger sister. This is not just the only case we have heard of but most of the time we listen to it all over the screens, social media platforms and in our neighborhoods of how school children lost their lives on the roads either on their way to and from school. We may not offer a complete answer to this mystery, but at least when we do something over the matter automatically, the problem will be significantly countered.

I am to the proposal that the government and related stakeholders combine efforts and build separate pavement for school children to be using on their way to and out of school. This will significantly improve their safety on the road, and the cases of mysterious accidents involving the school children will reduce tremendously. Young children have got great potential in them in the process of making the whole world adorable and a better place. We got a chance to save their lives and let us embrace it because we will be helping the next generation to live in a better and improved world. I understand that I will have to incorporate more nongovernmental bodies to help me tackle this matter and use some of the national institutions for the protection of children's rights ( Singer, 2015). One thing remains for sure if I end up making good use of the Kaplan University literature and writing department and resources I will gladly sink the point home to various affected and affiliated parties and possible measures will be taken over the same issue.
