The main character in this film, Kevin, holds different identities, depicted through the lanes of different holdings in life. According to the DSM-5 definition, abnormal behavior refers to a state in which individuals violate the social norms by behaving in rare ways, contrary to the environment and culture of their societies (Sue et al., 2016). In this film, Kevin's different personalities indicate abnormal behavior as per the DSM-5 definition.

The main characteristic of abnormal behavior in this film is Kevin's struggle with dissociative identity disorder. In essence, the character does not know his true personality and has to shift to different personalities, including voice, age, and appearances. The change in personalities is an indication that Kevin does not understand who he is, which is contrary to society's expectations and norms (Trungpro9 Media, 2020). Another key indicator of abnormal behavior is Kevin's abnormal behavior is his dressing code. In one of his personalities, he dresses like a woman, tricking the girls that they could escape his other personalities. In essence, it is abnormal for men to dress and feel comfortable in women's clothing, contrary to what Kevin felt under the exact situation.

Kevin's lack of humanity and susceptibility to killing is also an indication of abnormal behavior. The character does not show remorse when executing his victims throughout the film. For instance, after going to the headquarters, the beast, one of Kevin's personalities, kills three individuals Marcia, Fletcher, and Claire, without any remorse (Trungpro9 Media, 2020). The ability to kill people without any remorse indicates abnormal behavior in Kevin's personality.

The character's beliefs in superstitious beings like the "Beast" indicate abnormal behavior (Trungpro9 Media, 2020). Kevin believes that people who have not suffered various mysteries are not fit to survive in this world; hence they must be killed for the world to be pure. Such beliefs only amplify abnormalities in Kevin's behaviors, as no society can hold such beliefs.
