According to the Barkley Video, ADHD is the most treatable disorder in psychiatry, and there are active drugs that can be used to manage the problem. The effects of the drugs are few. In the presentation, Bakley says that the best approach is to re-engineer the environment by ensuring the interventions are there on the situation. According to him, the patient knows what to do, and medication is justifiable. The most effective treatment is medication. The condition is a chronic disorder that does not have a cure but needs to be managed to prevent secondary consequences. The problem according to the doctor is undertreating the most treatable conditions. According to the New York Times article, ADHD is a treatable condition using medication, but the challenge is that drugs are misused for other gains causing addiction and more problems to the patient. The text names stimulant medications like Ritalin, Dexedrine, and Adderall as useful in the treatment of the condition. According to the text, 70% to 85% of children respond to the drugs that result in a decrease in disruptive and non-compliant behaviours (Holen-Hoeksema & Marroquin, 2017; Schwartz, 2016).
According to the course text, Autism is a disorder that involves the impairment of two necessary behaviors, i.e., a deficit in the social interaction and communicating and restricted repetitive behavior patterns. Individuals with autism will demonstrate a deficiency in social and nonverbal communication, developing, maintaining and understanding relationships. The principal contributors to autism are a combination of biological factors. Genetics, in particular, are active contributors to autism. Abnormalities in several genes have been identified as the leading cause of autism. Any neurological element that disrupts the healthy development and organization of the brain also play a part in the development of autism. No study has been done to ascertain whether vaccines cause autism. The arguments brought forward that vaccines contribute to autism are not supported by empirical studies (Holen-Hoeksema & Marroquin, 2017)

Aggressive children are unable to express themselves maturely and therefore react by throwing tantrums because they cannot adequately handle anger or frustration. Aggressive and disruptive behaviors are some of the causes of the child's action. Some of the conditions that the child might be suffering from include; Schizophrenia, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, autism, ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders. Aggressive children can be dangerous to themselves and others like parents and siblings. Such children lose control and direct their anger to the caregiver and in most circumstances, they scream, curse, throw objects, hit and bit. It is a sorry state for the kid and the caregiver. Modern antipsychotic drugs are prescribed for aggressive disorders. Such medications should be incorporated into behavioral techniques. The prescription for such conditions is still not satisfactory to deal with all situations affecting children (Holen-Hoeksema & Marroquin, 2017; Jacobson, 2014).
