Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs Theory explains motivational factors grouped into five categories. The needs according to Velmurugan and Sankar (2017) include physiological needs, safety needs, belonging and love needs, esteem -needs, and self-actualization. Physiological needs entail rest, warmth, water, and food. Safety needs, on the other hand, involves safety and security while belonging and love needs comprise of friendship and intimate relationships ( Healy, 2016) . According to Latifah, Kuncara, and Valiantien (2018) e steem needs entail requirements such as feelings of accomplishment and prestige while self-actualization consists of accomplishing one’s potential such as creative activities. From the bottom level, they can be grouped as basic needs, psychological needs, and self-fulfillment.
At the lowest level, I am mostly satisfied with food. I find sufficient nourishment from my daily food intakes that comprise of all essential supplements and nutrients necessary for healthy living. I consider food as a critical basic need that gives me the strength to accomplish my daily tasks and work towards achieving higher ideals. I believe that as an ultrasound technologist, healthy living is critical in helping me give my best. Additionally, it stays healthy to attend to my duties and fulfill my career objectives.

The next level above my physiological need that I feel is still unmet is self-actualization. I have not attained personal objectives ill, especially towards gaining a remarkable reputation and prestigious status as an ultrasound technologist. I have not become the most I want to be in my line of work, especially in specializing in one of the many areas such as gynecologic or obstetric. I would wish to make a remarkable achievement to give me a sense of purpose, peak experience, or self-fulfillment. I believe that if I take a national credentialing test in addition to expanding my training, I will attain my unmet need in my field. For certification, I aspire to complete certification training. I will undertake training in diagnostic medical sonography to meet self-actualization. Attaining the certification will be an outstanding achievement.
