In this this study, two main articles were selected and which have undergone a thorough analysis for a long time. The articles include “African American Women: The Face of HIV/AIDS in Washington, DC,” by Ndidiamaka Amutah, and Dariusz Dziewanski’s article titled “The Assessment of the Impact of Ebola Virus Disease (Evd) in five districts in Sierra Leone.” These journals describe the HIV health status of individuals in the US and the impact to those who faced Ebola in Sierra Lion respectively. The articles are relevant to my field of public health because they contain a lot of information about the research findings concerning people’s health problems in terms of attack by Ebola disease and HIV/AIDS.

The first article by Ndidiamaka is relevant to field of health because it describes important information about HIV and how it is viewed in the Washington DC. On the other note, the Dariusz Dziewanski’s article is relevant to the field of health especially through the way it makes an analysis of the topic of the deadly disease called Ebola. In a nutshell, Dariusz Dziewanski’s article wanted to investigate the impact of the deadly disease called Ebola on the people. Its findings shows that the overall outcomes in the form a report about the assessment of findings would assist many health facilities to understand the effect of Ebola. The study made a wide research in the form of data collection and analysis, which helped many people to understand the overall outcomes of the disease on the populations as was studied in the five districts of Sierra Lion. The findings showed that Women were highly susceptible to the HIV (Ndidiamaka, 2012). They also continued with the investigations and they found that many people in city who were HIV positive were increasing in trend in Washington on early basis.

On the other hand, Ndidiamaka study made a wide research about the face of HIVAIDS and its effects to the people particularly the Women in Washington DC. The extensive literature research explains how it is working in terms of variable analysis and the consequences as investigated on other studies in other states about the same to subject (Ndidiamaka, 2012). It chose a quantitative study design, which helped to develop more complex analysis in which software like SPSS was used for the analysis of the information (Math, 2012). Accordingly, Ndidiamaka’s findings of the study showed that the effects of Ebola in the country were widespread and profound (Ndidiamaka, 2015). He also noted that it affected households, individuals, communities (Ndidiamaka, 2015). When understanding such information, it was noted that the collection and analysis of the data was done by qualitative means.

The method used was appropriate for the purpose of the study. Dariusz Dziewanski’s made an investigation of the impacts of Ebola. He used quantitative methods of in the collection and analysis of the study. In this regard, reviewed comments indicate that the study of Ebola is important in health and the uses of the methods for data collection in the study were risky but highly important. Importantly, after cleaning preparing the data, he used statistical methods such as SPSS in the data analysis for investigating ANOVA and Regression (Goldstein, 2015). The review comments indicate that that was an effective way of analyzing the variables using efficient quantitative methods that were coupled with the application of the right procedures of data analysis in SPSS (Boston University, 2013).

The other journals used in the course include the Boston University research findings about hypothesis testing of means. It gives very vital information about study findings that are related to idea of hypothesis testing (Samariha, et al., 2013). Comments about the same topic revealed that material was good for the study because it included vital information about community health.

The best recommendation for future work is that researchers should be the study on means of reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS. On the other hand, more research about Ebola should happen to find ways of saving many people from its snares when it comes. Collectively, the journals are effective in terms of data collection and analysis particularly in informing about the research findings about public health.
