The Asia-Pacific region is expected to have the highest growth in the airline business in the next decade and probably beyond. Asia is home to nine of the ten most popular flights in the world. Additionally, the top 10 fastest emerging markets in aviation include countries in Asia, such as Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. From that perspective, it is evident that the region is expected to experience a boom in the airline business by 2030. The region has also been projected to lead the demand for air transport for almost two decades, and the trend could continue beyond that period ("IATA Forecasts Passenger Demand to Double Over 20 Years", 2016) . Currently, the region demonstrates diversity in terms of the trends in airlines and passenger preferences. The diversity, coupled with the dynamicity of the business, increases the potential of expanding growth in the next two decades.

One of the primary reasons for the expanding growth in the airline business in the Asia-Pacific region is the high population. The population also comprises of diverse groups that provide different options for airlines when creating travel packages. As a result, the airlines operating in the region have flexibility in terms of planning for different groups. These developments in the Asia-pacific airline business are expected to prompt more infrastructure that is limiting faster growth. When more and better infrastructure is setup, the growth may surpass expectations. For example, emerging markets such as Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam are airline market growths outpaced expectations. The private sector in the region’s airline business is increasing, biding for more opportunities in the market (Low & Yang, 2019) . In that regard, there is a blend of market options that facilitate the development of the airline market from almost every corner. All these developments point to an expanding growth in the Asia-Pacific airline business in the next decade and beyond.
