Education is one of the essential needs for countries to progress. Numerous advantages are associated with education. These advantages promote not only the prosperity of the individuals but also the society as a whole. Additionally, securing a contented income and developing problem-solving skills are also vital advantages that result from education (Lazenby, 2016). Education also allows individuals to give back to society, making it a better place. The education realm has changed over the years and more and more people even from developing countries are going to school which underscores the importance of education. However, education is a sector with its fair share of challenges. One of the contentious issues affecting the education sector is inequality. Inequality in education arises where some children have access to more resources that others making the former to have access to quality education while those from the lowly groups struggle to get quality education. This situation results in unfair competition in the job market because obviously the students who had access to quality education will outshine the disadvantaged students. This situation begs the question whether all children should have access to the same education. This essay argues that all children should have equal access to education because it gives children a chance to compete fairly with peers in the job market, unlocks the potential of disadvantaged children and it is a way to spur social and economic growth in a country. 

Every child has the right to receive a good and quality education to gain the relevant skills needed to survive and thrive in society (Darling-Hammond, 2015). There are different types of students ranging from those who come from higher social classes, lower social classes, and those with underlying medical conditions that may have a significant impact on their education. Children from a higher social status background may not have challenges acquiring education than children from vulnerable backgrounds. Equity in education covers several factors, such as fairness in implementing educational models, strategies, and programs but not imply equality (Lazenby, 2016). Therefore, all children must receive the same education to ensure that no one is left out towards fostering equity and equality in education.

Equality in education ensures that children have similar opportunities to succeed in life. (Ainscow, 2015). Equity will help all children equally develop the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to engage in different areas in society as productive members (Lazenby, 2016). Further, according to all children access to the same education is vital in leading better economic and social results for the individuals, the society, and the nation. All students also need to access the same education to improve their readiness to create a fair and equalized start for all individuals based on the principles of equity (Darling-Hammond, 2015). Nonetheless, inequality in education has always been the trend in the United States where children from the minorities face harsh challenges regarding education, such as reduced access to resources and course offerings, and are often like to be instructed by inexperienced teachers and lowly paid. This means that children from wealthier families get the best education, teachers, and access to the best course education has to offer (Ainscow, 2015). One of the most saddening aspects is that the government fails to recognize that these two types of students will have to compete for the same job opportunities leaving the children from minority groups at the vast of devastation. All children should be given access to the same education to avoid the mentioned scenario as no student is better. They need to be given equal opportunities to prove that each individual wins or succeeds by fair merit. 

Inequality in the financing of educational programs and resources put children from low-income families in a very compromising situation. They are later forced to attend below-level schools that lack required resources and well-trained teachers (Darling-Hammond, 2015). This aspect leads to the frustrations and discouragement of such students to the extent that they end up dropping out of school, putting their imminent skills and talent to waste. Therefore, all students should be given access to the same education because each Childs talent is essential in establishing a competitive workforce in the future. Furthermore, one of the advantages of a competitive force in society is that it leads to the critical development of new innovative signs of progress. 

Each child has a defined and unique level of capability and allowing all children access to the same education ensures that they get diverse experiences beyond their limits in ensuring that they are very competitive and well experienced (Darling-Hammond, 2015). Poverty is an aspect of concern in many countries, and these countries often try very hard to reduce the poverty levels to very little success. However, what they are forgetting is that the problem starts from the lack of access to the same education for all children. This means that many of the children will drop out of school even before they achieve the required skills to survive and strive in the outside world due to the same poverty. According to Haug (2017), education is the only escape gate from poverty. Therefore, all students should be given access to the same education to reduce the number of future poverties. Furthermore, suppose all students are given access to the same education. In that case, they will have the opportunity to acquire the right and needed skills to do something meaningful in life using the different options provided in the community or nation. 

When all children are given access to the same education, their lives will be transformed to overcome poverty, more so those children from very humble backgrounds. There are many ways students can be barred or hindered from accessing the same education (Lazenby, 2016). For instance, the societal aspect of inequality may lead to discrimination from bias factors. Other challenges or limitations include social economy, cultural, family-related, programmatic, and staffing inequity. 

Contrarily, some of the individuals argue students are different in many ways, and thus, each should receive the kind of education that is effective in making them competent and competitive (Hornby, 2015). When allowing all students access to the same education, people often consider equity and equality in education. However, one may fail to notice that equality and equity in education are not always enough. Even with the equal and equitable supply of education, there is a possibility that the allocation will be inequitable to some individuals. This reason can be attributed to the fact that there were already established initially existing inequities that had way back led to the disadvantaging of these students (Haug, 2017). Further, students with physical disabilities such as blindness, among other severe conditions, maybe disadvantaged if all children were given access to the same education. These disabled students may find it challenging to get various concepts as normal students do and thus fail to get the required skills. 

In conclusion, every child has the right to receive good and quality education to gain the relevant skills needed to survive and thrive in society. There are many reasons why all students should have access to the same education. These reasons include the fact that all children should have access to the same education.
