In the recent past, employees and development have evolved. These evolutions have expanded beyond the restraints of the classroom to the enormous expansion of the internet. Training has changed to fit the unique needs of generations of learners. Among many training methods, I recommend the following techniques.
The first method is instructor-led training approach. In this technique, it is advantageous because trainees get first-hand information from the expert. For companies, the approach is advantageous in that it saves resources. Actually, all that is needed is the speaker and “venue”.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
The first under instructor-led training is face-to-face training. This method has been used for many years. It is mostly used for employee training and development. Seminars, lectures, and conference are an example of this type of training. It best fits situations whereby, people are located in the same geographical location.
The second one under instructor-led training is webinars. Learners use classrooms that are virtual and participate in an online class. They are best used to train learners in different geographical locations.
The second type of training method is an active training approach. Although this type of training involves mediation instructor, they mostly involve learners.
The first type of active training approach is workshops. Workshops have many sessions which involve discussions, introspection, and contribution among learners. They are the best because they involve personal development and skill building.
The second type is case studies. They are actual or hypothetical scenarios that depict real-life work situations. They are the best because they give an opportunity to develop analytical and problem-solving skills.
The third type is brainstorming. They are used when ideas are needed to be drawn from participants. They are good because they bring out the best viable ideas and solutions to problems.
The other approach is experimental training approach. They are good because learners are exposed to the skills and processes needed in real work environments. It is the best when the learner practices the skills required. Under this category, there is on-the-job training which involves on boarding new hired employees. There is also, mentoring whereby the mentor shows the new employee ins and outs of employee. There is also role relaying whereby the learner tries to solve the customer issue. Also, there is a simulation whereby it is used in complex machinery and aviation.
The last category of recommendable training method is a tech-enabled training approach. It includes e-learning and gamification
