Corporations make decisions daily. Subsequently, leadership decision making provides continuous creativity and significant insight into management and leadership operations of organizations. Effective decision making requires mangers to involve employees in the organizational decision-making process. Engaging personnel in the decision-making process enables managers to acquire and comprehend the response of employees concerning the corporation's challenges. However, the decision-making process of America's national security forms the critical aspect of the state's management.

Decision-making of the US requires a conference of various heads of the states. Notably, decision-making on national security entails regular consultation of agency officials and senior departments in the country. Evidence at different levels of the decision-making process including problem identification and causes, creation of new options, impact demonstration, monitoring execution across the setting, and long-term consequences analysis ( Boaz & Davies, 2019) . Decision making of national security concerns involves employees such as the federal attorney general, secretary of the national treasury, secretary of the homeland security, American representative to the UN, chief of the employees or staff, and state's security advisor ( Doar & Gibbs, 2017 ). It does not promote workers' empowerment because the process involves leaders of various national departments in the government specifically.

The decision-making process in the US government entails identifying issue(s) and causes, creating new options, demonstrating impacts of the problem, monitoring implementation throughout the setting, and evaluating long-term consequences of the problem ( Lugo-Gil, Jean-Baptiste, & Jaramillo, 2019 ). I suppose the government does not use an effective method of decision-making because the process limits the effective participation of different stakeholders. For instance, the healthcare policy making-process does not institutionalize the application of evidence, incorporate relevant evidence, and promote effective coordination of researchers in the national decision-making process. Though the decision-making process of the US government does not exhibit transparency, the policies assist in improving healthcare services to patients.
