Recruiting is the process of identifying and enrolling candidates who are best qualified for a job from within an organization or from outside the organization. Benefits are those advantages enjoyed by employees from their employers on top of their pay, such as life insurance, daycare, tuition, sick leave, vacations among other positions. Mostly, a candidate will look for a company or organization which offers the best benefits and therefore for a recruiter to attract most qualified candidate, they should include the most suitable and attractive benefits (Dessler, 2016).
The benefits that a recruiter may employ to engage generation X and Y employees differ from those benefits which can lure baby boomers. (Talarico, 2016). Generation X and Y may be attracted by benefits such as job security, tuition benefits, promotions within the organization, salary levels and day care benefits.

On the other hand, the baby boomers are likely to work longer and have their retirements late. They are therefore mostly attracted to those benefits which will be advantageous to them, such as health and medical cover, salary level and retirement benefits. Employees are captivated by those benefits which are likely to be helpful to them (Talarico, 2017).
Medical insurance benefit can attract both generation X and Y as well as baby boomers to an organization (Talarico, 2017). All employees will enjoy health insurance especially those working in odd hours or hazardous conditions as they will expect to be covered health wise. Other attached advantages such as sick leave also play a part in attracting qualified employees.
In conclusion, a recruiter should wisely apply employee’s benefits which are most attractive and also consider the generational difference for him to attract most qualified candidates.
