Communication in every organization is very vital. Improvement of communication is essential as it facilitates workplace relationship that leads to higher productivity (Abrashi, 2018). The reason why I chose the process is because communication in my workplace needs restructuring. Poor communication reduces the morale to work, results in unmet set goals and expectations, and even health issues.
The steps taken to improve communication will be:
Regular check-in of employees : This is essential as it allows employees to air their grievances; they can share their opinions and thoughts on the various projects and issues.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Current communication strategy assessment : Communication platforms used in the workplace such as email, telephone, one on one communication should be assessed to determine their effectiveness. The process helps identify the major weak points in the organization (Eklof & Ahlborg, 2016).
Adoption and implementation of social intranet software: The software consists of tools that manage the daily business activities, reduces the use of emails and reduces the contact points between the departments. The software allows efficient access and sharing of information by all employees, reducing the communication breakdowns.
Improvement of communication in this organization involves all the stakeholders in all departments since communication flow is necessary to everyone. The question to be asked about the current communication process is the source of any communication issue, the platforms that the employee considers faulty and what areas did the majority of the stakeholders think there was a need for improvement.
I will know that the process has improved when I notice that the employees treat each other with respect and friendliness, there is reduced communication breakdown and the workflow is smooth, with minimum complains from the stakeholders.
