A Tentative Plan for the Client in the Case Above

In the case above, the management plan involves a series of several steps. The first step is the aspect of doing a thorough interview on the client. Through an interview, it will be easier to acquire the background information concerning the client. For instance, the interview will uncover both the strengths and weaknesses of the client as much as alcoholism is concerned (Ray, 2018). It will also be easier to note the current situation of the client as much his alcoholic habit is concerned.

The second step involves developing both short and long term goals to handle the critical condition of the client. By extending short and long term goals, the client will establish and reach his target when it comes to quitting from taking alcohol (Ray, 2018). Since addiction to the client is the primary concern in the above case, it will be necessary to identify the reasons as to why the client started drinking alcohol. He will also learn some of the primary influence of alcoholic habits to his life. As a result, it will much cheap to plan for immediate interventions where necessary.

The next step involves building concurrent plans that are relevant to solving the above case. For instance, since alcohol addiction is the leading underlying cause of delirium tremens and family worries, then, the substance abuse treatment must be in order (Ray, 2018). In case health complications occur, one must be in a position of building both medical and counselling interventions as a section of an excellent measure to prevent future problems.

A List of Various Services the Person in the Case Needs Initially

Staffing services

Brokering services

Screening and assessment service

Counselling service

Formal and Generic Services That Involve the Use of Social Supports and Support Groups for the Client in the Case Above

The client requires staffing services as a generic service to help him withdraw from excessive consumption of alcohol in a correct manner that disarms his health conditions. The staffing service helps the client to evaluate his progress towards attaining his goals and targets such that he can withdraw from alcohol consumption in a better way. Furthermore, staffing services give the client a chance to consult his family members and friends on how to make joint plans when it comes to handling his addictive condition (Redd, 2018). The formal part of the staffing service is that it enables the client to obtain his consent.

The client also requires brokering services as important guidance in managing the case above. For example, through brokering, he can receive proper advice about the appropriate resources to access to address his addictive life on alcohol consumption (Redd, 2018). He also receives clear information concerning the detrimental influence alcohol consumption to his family and his life in general. More so, the client will stand a chance of making necessary follow-ups to assess his effectiveness far as his health care is concerned.

On the other hand, the client in the case above requires formal services such as screening and assessment. Through screening and assessment, the husband to the wife will gain the necessary information to help him manage his addictive way of life. For instance, at all times he will have an opportunity of reviewing his past conditions by comparing it with the present one (Redd, 2018). Most importantly, he will learn all screens on TRACS he has managed to complete and the potential diseases the client is likely to acquire if he persists on drinking alcohol continuously.

Also, the client requires a counselling service to manage his case by initiating strategies to follow for a successful withdrawal of drinking alcohol. Through counselling, the client grabs an opportunity to accept and understand himself (Redd, 2018). It will also help the client to clarify the nature of his challenges that emerges whenever he tries to quit from excessive consumption of alcohol. It will also signify to the client that both his family and friend are working together to make him stabilise.

Other Suggested Services the Person Might Use Later Once the Case Is Stabilised

The person might use a relapse service to maintain the achieved behaviour of the client out of his alcoholic addictive life. It will give the person the courage to enlighten the client about the positive measures of avoiding alcohol. Also, the service will facilitate the person towards supporting the efficacy of the client so that a continuous and long-lasting stabilisation can remain achievable in all situations (Parry, 2015). Moreover, the person might exercise primary treatment services. Primary treatment helps both the client and person to develop a management plan that evaluates the short and medium terms of the client. In such a service, the person continuously motivates the client to remain engaged in his treatment effectively even after the condition is resolved.

How to Involve Others Close To the Person and How You Will Involve the Client in Planning

The event of involving individuals who are close to the above client include making a formal meeting with the aim of developing a joint family and friends plan to help the client recover from his addiction condition. Also, it involves allowing friends and family members of the client to interact with each other physically. The primary aim of their interaction is to seek for a wide range of resources to help their member who is in a worse situation of being infected with delirium tremens (Parry, 2015). On the other hand, involving the client in planning include inviting him to participate in family meetings so that he can raise important comments about his background regarding alcohol consumptions and how best he thinks things should be done to manage his addictive conditions. Most importantly, the person should give the client application forms so that he can apply for services that he thinks they are vital to reverse his current conditions.

Conclusion

Case management plan is an approach that has played a significant role in helping individuals with addictive challenges out of their excessive use of alcohol. The method involves an implementation of both formal and generic services that individuals require to avoid falling into tremendous alcoholic infections such as delirium tremens. For instance, in the case above, the client deserves essential services such as staffing, counselling, brokering and assessment to help him withdraw from drinking alcohol in a manner that it will not influence his health negatively. Beyond the provision of services, the client needs important interventions such as being involved when it comes to the creation of the management case plan to address their challenges.
