Services That Katrina and Lisa can benefit from

Katrina and Lisa can benefit from human services. Lisa should seek refuge from a child welfare worker. The role of a child welfare employee is to unite families while laying emphasis on the safety of a child (Dong et al., 2004). When Lisa and Katrina are counseled, the situation may change.

Involvement of Child Welfare in Lisa's and Katrina’s case

Child welfare should be involved in this case because children have a right of a child to be provided with the basic needs. As a result, the involvement of this agency can help Lisa’s family to reduce the neglect. How to Respond to Transference and Countertransference Issue

To answer the transference and countertransference of an individual who is facing or has faced emotional neglect, I would organize therapeutic programs for such people to help them overcome trauma, shame, neglect experienced during various stages of life.

Conclusion

Children need to grow to healthy people, and thus, parents should not practice emotional neglect. As discussed above, it inhibits normal development of a child.
