There are various types of negligence that affect different people. For instance, physical neglect occurs when children do not receive basic physical requirements, such as food, clothing, and shelter, persistently. For example, children experience physical neglect when they do not receive necessary, adequate, and a well-balanced diet. When parents do provide a better shelter against adverse weather and conditions, they expose children to physical neglect. Lack of sufficient clothing demonstrates physical; neglect of children. Medical occurs when children do receive adequate medical care to assist in curbing the deterioration of the ill-health condition ( Crowley, 2016 ). For example, failure to offer medical care to a child intentionally result in medical neglect among children. Lastly, educational neglect result from the failure of parents to ensure their children receive primary education. For instance, parents may demonstrate educational neglect when they fail to register their child to pursue the necessary training. 

The Three Major Feeding Disorders and Give an Example 

Anorexia nervosa; the disorder entails behaviors such as fasting, dieting, over-exercising, diuretics, consuming dietary pills, vomiting, and laxatives (Howard, 2018). The disease results in dissatisfaction with one’s self appearance; for example, people with Anorexia nervosa may gain more weight.

Bulimia nervosa; the disease affects people with frequent and recurrent episodes of consuming large quantities of foods, fasting, or performing excessive exercises (Howard, 2018). People with Bulimia nervosa over-concentrate on their weight, body size, and shape. 

Binge food consumption disorder; people with the disease consume a large quantity of food after a short time (Howard, 2018). People experience binge eating illness experience a sense of distress, disgust, and embarrassment of their physical appearance leading to depression. 

Thee ways that a therapist can strive to provide culturally competent mental health services 

Ethnically sensitive therapy requires therapists to comprehend the background, belief system, and ethnicity of the clients to provide culturally relevant mental health services. The therapist should understand and accommodate the different values, opinions, and attitudes of clients with different cultures ( Benuto, Gonzalez, & Singer, 2020 ). The therapist should understand how religion influences the belief of the client towards the acceptance of healthcare services. The therapist should acknowledge the existence of local leadership and incorporate the leaders in the implementation process of initiatives intended to improve public health.
