Julie Hanlon Rubio is correct, biblically Jesus commanded people to make disciples by offering help and love to people who are in dire need. In Mathew 28:18-20 the verse says “go into the world and make a disciple.” And as a true Christian believer, it’s an important thing to follow Jesus teaching. Although the time parents have to influence their children may be limited, they should be intentional and set days to have a prayerful and couching session with well-set clear goals to teach their children on how to know, relate and trust God as their Lord Savior and the act of bible study, serving and helping the community (Rubio, 2010). These acts will help a child grow spiritually as well as become an essential person who contributes to the growth of the society.

The gospel teaching is one of the most categories of truth for a parent to stock in children spiritual pantry. These teachings help both parent and children to remain righteousness in every walk of life. The family will mainly concentrate on doing things that depict faithfulness and honestly when carrying out a task and with time children will enumerate these virtues from their parent. The family should play the leading role in creating awareness to children on the kind of trouble that exists in life and how to stay away from these troubles (Rubio, 2010). When serving judgments parent should portray truth and honesty never rule a judgment in favor of a child that has done a mistake, this act may influence a child to keep on making mistakes and causing trouble since the parent doesn’t punish him. A parent is responsible for raise a child in a righteous way and they should right the right justice no matter how they love the child.
