Effective educators have a long experience of how to manage the classroom. Good classroom management is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of a teacher. If a teacher is not managing a classroom, the students manage the classroom for him/her. As a teacher, I understand that students' achievements are intertwined with organized and structured students' working environment ( Wong 2014) . Teachers must manage their classes effectively using relevant strategies and self-discipline. This is to ensure that student's self-confidence can be grown, and self-discipline may be instilled in them to nurture students' potential; under the guideline of effective learning takes place smoothly and effectively. Effective classroom management's significance is to ensure that students' interaction results in a productive working environment. This paper discusses three effective strategies for classroom management (procedure, rules, and classroom organization) that I, a second-grade teacher, would implement at California elementary.

The strategies include:

Procedure

The basis of classroom management depends on the procedures that outline a management plan to create the achievement of studying goals. Procedures can be termed as tasks that pupils should do to improve their chances of studying and performing. These are the fundamentals and foundation upon which successful teaching must take place. Having a well-outlined procedure simplifies the pupils' task of succeeding in their studies and create a conducive learning environment ( Wong 2014) . What differentiates effective teachers from their ineffective counterparts is the use of routines for everyday tasks. As a new teacher, I would invest my time in teaching procedures; by creating procedures that need little supervising ( Wong 2014) . Therefore, I would ensure the students’ concentration is entirely on the routine. On the other hand, the student will be responsible because they are aware, and they know the procedures or routines that structure and keep the class organized. Therefore, students will be working, learning, producing, and achieving their academic goals.

Rules

One of the most effective strategies of classroom management is having a relevant set of rules. As a new teacher, I understand that a well-managed classroom minimizes indiscipline among students. As an effective teacher, I will be more proactive and have a plan to prevent indiscipline from occurring within the class environment. As an effective teacher, I will also have a set of rules that concentrates on the expectation of how students should interact with each other while maintaining a safe atmosphere for learning ( Wong 2014) . Providing a clear explanation of rules to students will be necessary to help the students understand the rules in detail, expectations, and consequences of breaking them. As a teacher, I expect students to be punctual, bring all necessary books and supplies, adhere to classroom rules and procedures, and complete all the assignments neatly.

Classroom Organization

Classroom organization is a significant element in classroom management. While procedures and rules influence pupils' conduct, classroom organization concerns the physical structure of a class, making it to have a conducive atmosphere for learning ( Wong 2014) . The classroom organization influences students' behavior; if the class is well-organized, students are expected to behave accordingly. Classroom organization should be evident in a room, even in the absence of students. As an effective teacher, I will decorate the class using students' work and arrange the furniture to ensure students have comfortable learning ( Wong 2014) . Classroom organization should be in such a way as to permit teachers’ movement around the classroom. Students are expected to be neat, follow instructions, and maintain a well-arranged classroom with facilitating a learning environment.

Class management is essential in creating an excellent learning environment. It ensures that students and teachers can interact in the right manner to foster academic productivity. As a teacher, I would implement three strategies for class management: procedure, rules, and class organization. Each of these strategies works towards creating a better learning environment for students and the teaching environment. Implementing such strategies improves academic productivity.
