Climate change is a discussion that is trending in many platforms due to the effects that it is presenting in the world. It is where the climatic conditions of the world have changed due to various environmental factors. Environmental conditions have changed due to factors such as an increase in population, change in lifestyle of human beings and globalization. Such factors have led to the change of environment which includes plants and trees. Due to that, climate and weather conditions have also improved various affecting factors which in turn bring about consequences. Various solutions have been suggested to help deal with the consequences that are due to change of climate. The effects involve those that are most and least significant or likely.

What are the consequences of climate change? For individuals, groups and society as a whole?

The implications of climate change are several, and they include; health conditions, melting ice or rising sea, extreme weather shifting and economic impact on the society. Firstly, sanitary conditions where climatic change affects the health status of human beings. The diseases include some conditions that are heat- related and are seen to result in deaths. Cold- related diseases are also experienced in some regions that have cold weather conditions. Water-borne diseases are seen to be experienced by various people due to exposure to water in excess. Once the climatic conditions are characterized by large water masses in the areas where people live, they will be exposed to water-borne diseases that in most cases lead to death. The diseases are always caused by the change in climatic conditions that will lead to in some cases to death of those affected.

Second consequence seen to affect individuals, groups and societies are melting ice. Due to global warming, water is warming up which in hand leads to expansion. Expansion then leads to glaciers and polar ice to begin melting. Such changes of expansion and melting of ice lead to the rising of water levels that causes erosion of coastal regions and flooding. Thirdly is the extreme shift in weather conditions. It is seen that in most areas rain patterns have changed with other places experiencing torrential rains. Torrential rains then cause floods that then affects the quality of water. Availability of water is also tampered with due to the floods that are experienced due to heavy rains in such regions. Individuals are then forced to move out due to the floods while the society becomes displaced. Some calamities are also faced due to the floods such as drowning of children and destruction of crops.

Lastly is the economic impact it has on individuals, groups and societies. Climatic change as discussed has caused a shift in rainfall, and therefore it affects the agricultural sector. Agriculture is dependent on weather conditions in that when there is a change in seasons, the farm sector is affected, and in most societies, agriculture is critical to the economic status. Therefore once it is affected, many cannot afford to produce crops efficiently and of high quality.

Possible solutions and suggestions on the problem, who suggests what and what can be done about the causes of the problem. Argue and motivate and what consequences are the worst and must be addressed first and why. Which of the causes of climate change seems most / least likely and why

Various suggestions are suggested to assist in controlling the change of climate. Firstly is the upgrade of infrastructure. Due to the current technology in architecture, building in the world is seen to contribute substantially to global warming. Most people are considered to now invest in thick insulation and other cheap factors that will help reduce cost on a long term basis. New roads are also helpful where once roads are smooth, consumption of fuel is less because people take a short time on the road and therefore pollution is minimized significantly. Once the infrastructure is upgraded, it makes it easier to control pollution that is seen to take place in the society, and global warming is minimized.

Secondly is the aspect of doing more with less in that one can reduce their consumption and still attain the intended results. Developed countries are always culprits of such cases where they tend to waste energy. The vehicles they use are those that consume a lot of fuel and therefore emit toxic substances that contribute to global warming and eventually climatic change. The introduction of vehicles that consume less and yet still perform the same speed is advised to reduce a number of toxic substances emitted from the machine. A similar case in seen where individuals are encouraged to use appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioners that are environmentally friendly and do not emit significant amounts of toxic substances. At one’s place of work, they are advised to reduce the consumption of light and heat to preserve energy and avoid pollution through the waste products produced by energy.

The most addressed consequence seen is usually health factors, and it is because it affects individuals directly. Once a population begins to experience health issues, it affects their right to live which is a humanitarian issue. It is, therefore, the responsibility of every human being to assist stop the problem before it spreads all over the world. Due to globalization, it is easier for some diseases to spread and therefore immediate solutions need to be presented. There is also a consequence that is not addressed keenly, and that is the economic cost. As much as there are societies that depend on agriculture as their source of revenue, not all places rely on it, and therefore they are expected to adapt to such conditions.

Give a final reflection and your own suggestions and solutions on the problem

In conclusion, it is advisable that the society builds a form of strategy where they will control the use of energy due to the toxic substances produced. Global warming is the root problem of climate change and therefore solving it through control of pollution can be the best and most efficient method.
