Clinical judgment is the process by which a health care professional evaluates the situation at hand by coming up with clinically informed intervention purposed toward resolving a diagnosed problem ( Tanner, 2006) . Based on the data interpretation, a diagnosis can be developed, so the nurses have to employ critical thinking, problem-solving skills followed by an identification of appropriate actions aimed at improving the health status of the client. Following the global pandemic that is now a threat to many lives, it requires a lot of critical judgment strategies to reduce the transmissions if they cannot completely eradicate the disease. It then brings us to the implementations of these elements in the definition to cluster the problems into manageable states and taking into consideration the preexisting challenges that have been caused by Covid-19.

First, for proper clinical judgment, data needs to be collected, which is getting figures for the extent of the spread of the disease. It would greatly influence the effectiveness of the following elements, including the outcome, namely the actions proposed to improve the health conditions of the covid-19 patients ( Alfaro-LeFevre, 2016) . It is realized that given the high rate of infections, the resources required to facilitate the treatment and provide care to the patients become challenging and scarce. Therefore, to counter this challenge as clinical officers must estimate the future requirements based on the rates of infections through the utilization of existing data. It would help in preparation through the manufacturing and acquisition of sufficient PPES and ventilators to serve chronic patients.

In this context of fighting Covid-19, clinicians should implement evidence-based practices that incorporate the overlapping domains of clinical judgment, best available evidence, and patients' values. The best possible evidence domain encompasses the knowledge on the harms of covid-19 and its containment if the patients are treated in isolation to limit the damage it causes to the other ( Sabei & Lasater, 2016) . Therefore, hospitals need more space to reduce ward users to only one patient. The final instance is through mass education, which will help in reducing the spread as the public will know how to take preventive measures in curbing covid-19.
