Background Information about The Company 

Coca-cola Company was founded based on the curiosity of a pharmacist from Atlanta. Dr. John Pemberton made a soft drink that had a distinct taste. This drink was sold at many joints and fountains. Based on this discovery, the coca-cola company was founded on 29th January 1892. We are an international company supplying soft drinks to more than two hundred countries in the world. As a company, we work to ensure that the drinks we produce are good qualities. We believe in teamwork and unity. Our customers are our employers. Therefore, we ensure that the products that we give them are the best. We are a dynamic company that adapts to change in the business market. We always aspire to get better.

The Mission and Vision of Coca-Cola Company 

The mission states the purpose of our company, and it acts as the standard for all our actions and processes. The company has a mission that encompasses various aspects. The company aims at offering refreshment to the world in spirit body and mind. The company through its actions and brands hopes to create experiences of happiness and optimism. Another aim of the company is to create a difference through its operations and products, and also create value (Coleman, 2013).

The vision of the company acts as a guide since it states what the company needs to continue doing for the company to keep achieving growth. For the company to accomplish its mission, it has created a vision that involves six words beginning with letter P.

The first word is people: The Company aims to be an excellent place for people to work where they are motivated to do the best that they can. Coca-Cola Company is made for the people and not only customers but also those that work in the company. The second word is partners: Deliver a portfolio of various brands of quality beverages that satisfy and fulfill the wants and desires of their consumers. The third word is partners: Develop a network of winning suppliers and customers, and through working together, we create value that is mutual and enduring. The fourth word is planet: Inspires the employees to be citizens who are responsible and aid in building sustainable developments in the community thus making a difference. The fifth word is profit: To generate returns to the shareholders while not forgetting the overall responsibilities of the company. The sixth word is productivity: To be an organization that moves fast and is highly efficient to the community.

The 2020 Vision 

We work towards achieving the 2020 vision. This vision entails protection of our environment, giving back to the community, our consumers and our customers, protection of the rights of humans and also those rights related to the workplace. The company also has a vision of recycling its plastic properties and changing its packaging as a move meant to prevent environmental pollution. Coca-Cola Company also has a vision of ensuring that women are empowered economically. Another 2020 goal is to safely return to the various communities an equal amount of water to what the companies use in the manufacturing processes and to also improve efficient use of water in the manufacturing process (Coleman, 2013). Another goal for the company is to reduce the carbon that is emitted by the company and also that present in the products sold to the consumers.

Our Culture of Winning 

The culture of winning of the companies illustrates the actions and steps that will be necessary for us to the vision 2020 of the company become a reality. This culture entails, core values, focusing on the market, need to act like owners, need to work smart and need to be the brand (Coleman, 2013).

These values act as a guide for our deeds and explain the way we behave in the world.

Quality 

As a company, we are committed to ensuring that our products that our customers enjoy are of the highest quality standards and that the similarly for the services we offer to our customers. Coca-cola does not take shortcuts in its processes and transactions, and we never compromise on our standards. What we do, we do well (Coleman, 2013).

Excellence 

Excellence is our target. We always work to exceed the expectations that others have for us. By all means possible, we aim to be the leader; we do not settle for the second place.

Integrity 

For any business to succeed and every relationship to prosper, honesty is given priority. We will always do what is right. We will ways be real and face a situation with reasonable minds.

Respect 

Coca-Cola respects and trusts customers, consumers, our colleagues and associates, our owners and our communities. We trust and respect our consumers who depend on our products of high quality. We recognize and trust our customers who rely on our exemplary services and partnership, our communities which we offer our service with good will and high attribute of civic responsibility. We also trust and respect our colleagues and associates, since we join hands as we work to reach our greatest potential and to ensure that each of our associates has a career that is fulfilling, rewarding and productive.

Passion 

We are committed both in mind and in the heart to serving our customers by offering excellent services and producing products of high quality.

Collaboration 

We use collaborations to maximum advantage. Partnerships expand our markets and also maximize our profits.

Diversity 

We are a diverse company. This is seen by the variety of Coca-Cola brands in the market. We aim to satisfy the needs of each of our customers and consumers.

Leadership and Accountability 

We believe that we can be able to create a better future by producing high-quality products that will act as reference standards for other companies in future. We believe that if we want positive change in the world, then it is up to us to influence it by offering the best that we can.

Focus on the Market 

Our primary focus is on the needs of our customers, partners, and consumers. We are always ready to get out into the market and listen to the views of our consumers, partners, and customers. We observe and learn from our competitors. Our daily focus is on the execution in the marketplace through the selling of our products and also offering our services (Coleman, 2013). We aim to expand our market throughout the whole world. Curiosity is our guide to innovation.

Mode of Working 

We act with urgency. We are always flexible to change. We change our course when 9it is necessary. We work efficiently and constructively remain discontent.

Acting like Owners 

We are accountable for what we do and what we miss to do. We show gratitude to our people for choosing risky ventures and coming up with other ways of dealing with problems. We learn from our results through studying what worked for us and what failed (Coleman, 2013). Coca-cola is a company that is focused on building value

Through our products and services, we inspire the happiness, fun, positivism, and creativity of our consumers and customers.
