The objective of creating a school mission and vision is to ensure that leaders become effective in achieving learning goals. Effective school leadership will develop goals that are capable of bringing all stakeholders on board. In the mission statements, stakeholders should state what they want their schools to become.
The following mission statements are clearly stated, indicating that an individual can identify the objective of the mission. For instance, The Brook Hill School mission statement is the provision of excellence in college preparatory education, affirms the gifts and challenges the potential of each student, and encourages students to honor God through Christ-like character (Boarding Schools in Texas, 2019). The Marine Military Academy's mission statement is to develop disciplined, morally strong, college-ready young men who are prepared for responsible leadership. San Marcos Academy's mission is to educate young men and women within a nurturing community based upon Christian values.

The mission reflects the following educational goals that every school, a mission statement, should have. For instance, educational institutions require organizations to be resilient even when faced with failures (Straub et al., 2017). This statement reveals that learners will develop skills for handling challenges. Schools also focus on preparing students with a positive mindset indicating that mission statements should encourage a student to have a passion for achieving the set goals.
Successful stakeholders should include all stakeholders capable of playing an essential role in the school development program. According to Kosmützky & Krücken (2015), the educational mission statement should consist of people of varying degrees and supportive in helping leaders to understand the requirements for modern education. Such people include teachers, parents, parents, and community leaders.
In an attempt to reach the critical stakeholders in developing a mission statement, the activity will begin by researching the school and the expected outcomes for learners (Bell & Harrison, 2018). In effect, I would spend the first two weeks learning about the school and engage leaders such as teachers and community members. In the planning diary, there will be the creation of joint meetings with teachers, students, parents, and community leaders to identify the core values and goals for the institution.
In conclusion, a mission statement is perceived as the tool that education leaders use to assess the goals of an institution. A successful mission statement should reflect the inputs of teachers, students, community leaders, and parents. In effect, it should be stated in a way that every stakeholder can identify the goals for the school.
