Communication Brief: Task Communication Content
From: The CEO, P & G Company
To: The Marketing Team, P & G Company
I am the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Proctor and Gamble Company (P & G), and I have received complaints from the stakeholders that the company has lost its trend in the consumer goods industry. The company is well known for providing goods products but has underperformed in recent years due to poor engagement and communication with customers. The company reduced the advertising of its products on different platforms. As a result, the brand presence of the company is not as significant as it used to be. After much consultations with the key stakeholders of the company, we have agreed to increase advertising and promotions. I believe if the marketing team increases brand awareness of our products through social media awareness, our company will regain its competitive edge in the market.
Communication Brief: Social Communication Content
From: The HRM, P & G Company
To: All Employees, P & G Company
I am the Human Resource Manager (HRM) of The Proctor and Gamble Company, and I have received complaints that there are some forms of discrimination in the workplace. I would like to make it clear that any acts of discrimination are not welcome in this company. Such acts violate the "terms and conditions" of your employment and may lead to disciplinary measures or employment termination. The management is looking into this issue as we are committed to making the workplace environment safe.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.

I believe this technological change will improve the workplace environment and the efficiency of the employees.
Analysis
The P & G Company is a multinational consumer goods corporation based in the United States. The company specializes in personal/consumer health, personal care and hygiene products. In an organization, there are three different kinds of communication contents, namely, task communication content, social communication content and innovation communication content. Task-related communication contents are designed to influence the receiver, who are the employees in an organization in most cases, to understand and complete task-related activities. Social communication content is a communication strategy designed to influence the maintenance and quality of human relations within a company. Lastly, innovation communication content is usually intended to influence and enable interactions about how a company can integrate innovative ideas or do things differently. Different organizations prioritize particular kinds of communication content more than other kinds.
The P & G Company prioritizes task-related communication content more than other kinds. The main aim of the company is to extend its global reach. Thus, the company employs task-relation communication strategies to ensure its employees understand and complete task-related activities. Out of the three kinds of communication content, P & G Company emphasizes social-related communication least. This is because the company is not characterized by social issues. With regard to innovation communication content, the company usually integrates modern technological equipment to improve its business operations.
Communication is essential for getting people on the same page as well as for making people work together toward a shared goal. Communication breakdown can knock things off track. More to this is that it can prevent a company from reaching its full potential. It is vital to note that communication in the organization can fail due to a number of obstacles. Some of the obstacles that can make a communication to fail are the flow of communication, organizational culture, and lack of planning.
The P & G Company is a multidivisional structure, and in most cases, the big decision is made by leaders in high positions. P & G is a tall organization, and this organizational structure tends to affect the flow of communication in an organization. Given that most of the decision is made the top management, lower-level management and employees usually do not have to say when it comes to addressing issues in the organization. Thus, this type of organizational structure can be the reason why the issues were there. This organizational structure was reflected in the Communication Brief in the sense that most of the communications or decision were being made by the top management, such as the CEO, Human Resource Manager, and IT Consultant. Written Communications Brief was the appropriate channel or medium for my communications as it was efficiently used to influence the actions of employees within an organization.
