Harsh circumstances often lead to the birth of collective strength. Such has been the case for Hongkongers since their cultural identity, which enhances and signifies their collective strength, has been nurtured by the socio and economic winters that Hong Kong has had to battle in the past. Hongkongers' cultural identity and collective strength cause them to have increased separatist sentiments causing most Hongkongers, especially the youth, to fail to identify as Chinese, even though they are ethnic Chinese. Notably, China has a continuously growing economic attractiveness. However, it has failed to turn the attractiveness into a political charm. This is because of the initiatives by the mass media and local consciousness that have increased Hongkongers' negative view of the policies enforced by the central government of China; hence, their lack of pride in identifying as the national citizens of China.

Reflection
As an American, my national cultural identity makes me an individualistic person who is freedom-oriented and competitive. Moreover, I value my privacy, appreciate equality, and am most comfortable in informal situations. Despite valuing and abhorring the same things as other Americans, I can identify with Hongkongers who do not want to be identified as China’s citizens of Chinese politics. This is because, in as much as Trump won the 2016 elections and was recognized as president, as an individual, I did not recognize his presidency. Moreover, during the period he was the American president, I did not feel proud to be identified as an American citizen.

In business, cultural diversity arises when people of different ethnicities, religions, gender, ages, or races engage in their different practices and traditions and observe their differing values and beliefs. Cultural diversity in businesses, driven by economic globalization, is associated with tangible (material) and intangible benefits. Employers need to commit to addressing the challenges arising from cultural diversity at the workplace to reap cultural diversity's benefits. Moreover, employers' responsibility is to avoid the hostility and awkwardness that may arise at the workplace due to cultural diversity by celebrating their employees' diversity.
Reflection
Like Leitner, I support the idea of employers embracing diversity at the workplace to promote productivity and avoid any form of hostility that may arise. This is because; I have experienced firsthand the significance of having a diverse workplace. For instance, my workplace's clientele is greater than our competitors because of the diversified workforce and skills at my workplace. I have observed how diversity makes the entire team stronger because areas of one's weakness are the areas of another's strength, enabling a team to turn a vision into a reality.

Anita Elberse, a professor at Harvard School of business, believes that scale determines marketing advantages. According to Elberse, bigger bets tend to result in big outcomes as she views the concept of “ smaller bets being safer ” as a myth. However, regardless of the scale and the size of the bet, Elberse indicates that the key is selling specialized information without giving it away. Furthermore, Elberse describes people's utterly wrong speculations. For instance, she indicates how people were wrong to think that the blockbuster's end would come with the advancement in technology, and also how people were mistaken to believe that the " long tail " was going to be the most significant aspect of businesses since the tail is thinning out by the day. Elberse indicates that the essential thing to do is what blockbusters such as Apple Inc. do, making a small sufficient group of people pay for content whose demand is sufficient, hence why blockbusters will always remain as winners even in concentrated markets.
Reflection
I believe I fall under the group of the many people pointed out by Elberse to have believed that the " long tail " is where the money would be. Therefore, like the rest of the people who believed in the " long tail " theory, I supported young authors, small publishers, upcoming artists, and jean makers regarded as macramé. However, upon observing how the " long tail " is becoming thinner and thinner by the day, I realize that blockbusters will always win. Therefore, I have chosen to shift my support to blockbusters such as Apple Inc. and Victoria's Secret fashion and embrace their culture of taking big bets because their culture has enabled them to remain successful.

The experiential learning model is a meta-model that organizes teaching efforts to realize coherent learning cycles. The learning model is broadly acknowledged because it embraces different styles of learning that appreciate diversity. Moreover, the different learning styles implemented through the model acknowledge cultural diversity that arises because of differences in gender, race, and other class variables. Therefore, the model successfully enables the employment of inclusive psychology teaching approach that helps instructors engage learners in a multifocal and gender-balanced situation. The experiential learning model fosters collaborative learning by providing a framework that integrates traditional and separate learning forms.
Reflection
Given that I am an American and that our country is generally described as “ a country of immigrants, ” I have learned to live and associate with people from diverse backgrounds. Therefore, I am well aware that some people from certain cultural backgrounds are more advantaged than others. As such, I feel that the experiential learning model is a savior as it offers equal learning opportunities to everyone regardless of one's cultural background. Moreover, I commend the model as a form of instruction framework as it enables instructors to have an easy time relaying information because it fosters collaborative learning.
