Communication is a critical component of any effective organization that prioritizes the safety and security of its members. To provide an efficient working atmosphere free of risk, all managers of different organizations must channel contact and understand how individuals within the organization behave. Organizational behavior is concerned with how people can be motivated to collaborate more effectively (Neher, 2020). The organizational coordination cycle provides the communication required to guide an organization toward a set of shared goals. The paper will concentrate on the importance of communication within an organization and how it can provide protection for both staff and management, based on an example of the Charleston Supper Sofa Fire in Charleston in 2007. It is clear that the fire in Charleston was triggered by a lack of coordination within the company, which resulted in significant property and life losses.

In an organization, the communication period assists workers and management in gathering useful information about workplace safety and the risks that can arise as a result of missing certain aspects of the work routine. The organization's channel for transmitting this type of information should be in place, along with the general machinery (Bhasin, 2020). The company requires a practical method to ensure that everyone has access to the necessary safety information in the event of an emergency. In the case of Charleston, it is clear that management failed to have an appropriate communication channel for all employees so that they were aware of what to do in the event of an emergency. Provided the correct communication line, the fire outbreak in Charleston could have been prevented if everybody had known what to do in the event of an emergency. As a result, communication channels must be prioritized to ensure protection in the event of an emergency.

The communication cycle ensures that all information coming from the managerial departments is coordinated at all times. Giving members updates on details and reinforcing written standard operating procedures aids them in recognizing the law and protocol to be followed in the event of an emergency. The protocols would ensure the safety of the organization's members (Neher, 2020). The related information on how to respond to an emergency and assist other participants during an emergency is provided. In the case of the Charleston incident, inadequate communication on alerts hindered the emergency response, resulting in a large number of deaths. It is clear that even the manager was unable to identify the most appropriate protocol to follow in the event of an emergency. Bad communication coordination may have contributed to the incident by failing to provide a consistent path to follow when the emergency occurred. As a consequence, a proper coordination period is crucial in issuing instructions about what steps should be done in the event of an emergency.

The organization's contact duration assists in control procedures such as managing members' actions within the organization. Within an organization, there are different levels of the pyramid, each with its own set of beliefs, values, and methods that members must adhere to. These values and objectives must adhere to organizational rules about the performance of duties that are limited to a specific area of responsibility (Bhasin, 2020). To avoid misunderstandings among members of the organization, the channeled lined and organized operational functions require effective communication. Misunderstandings within the organization may contribute to a poor response in the event of an emergency occurring from within or outside the organization. A good communication channel will help you quantify guiltiness and highlight the obligations of each member of your team. The dialogue centered on the members' obligations fosters cooperation, which has a significant impact on the speed at which they respond to any emergency.

Communication plays an important role in changing people's attitudes, resulting in the development of a better attitude through effective knowledge. Every individual's attitude within the organization should be positive in order to foster an appreciative disposition among all members. A well-defined communication plan will help any employer shape their attitude in order to contribute positively to the organization's success (Neher, 2020). Poorly communicated information, on the other hand, puts the organization at risk because a group of members who are unhappy with the organization's actions may intend to punish it. In the case of Charleston, nine people were killed, some of whom were members of the organization. The value of discussing every employee perspective to ensure a clear understanding of the organization's values and transparency is shown by this action by the organization. Such activities can be eradicated within an entity with proper communication networks, and every member's attitude can be influenced.

Communication boosts motivation by educating and clarifying participants about the mission at hand and how it should be completed. The procedures concerning the precise are communicated via an efficient communication channel. Any member of the organization can build a positive view of the organization and adhere to the organization's rules and principles if encouragement is encouraged (Bhasin, 2020). On the other hand, motivation presents a strong picture of respectful processes for disclosing details that might seem to be a source of stress for the organization. The same should have been done to the Charleston company to prevent the occurrences that occurred. A proper communication channel aids in the elimination of actions that could have a detrimental impact on the organization's performance. When all members are comfortable with current processes pertaining to management and motivational intervention, threats-related problems can be detected.

Inside the company, communication helps in dispute resolution. Conflict in the workplace will lead to the loss of talented workers and other management staff, exposing the company's secret. A proper communication channel allows the association to organize all of its members and provide proper guidance in relation to resolving any ideologies that might exist within it. Conflict resolution necessitates dialogue that takes into account each individual's perspective and addresses their concerns appropriately (Neher, 2020). In the case of Charleston, it is obvious that the group never cared for the members' thoughts. In any case, when a member of an organization participates in disruptive conduct that affects the organization, it suggests that the organization lacks good communication skills, making it difficult to control its members. An association should have a system in place for developing accurate knowledge that efficiently addresses any member's concern. Every organization should channel information in a way that respects all members' interests and positions. Communication should flow downward from top to bottom. It ensures proper information delivery and successful problem-solving.

Finally, collaboration has played a key role in maintaining the free flow of ideas and concerns that each member enjoys. Individual independence within the organization allows the organization to track and know what actions are needed to manage the organization's affairs. Communication, on the other hand, provides the most effective means of resolving internal conflict. The general discussion indicates that communication is an important management strategy that is necessary for every organization.
