The process of executing a community needs assessment is not easy. It requires a plan to ensure that all the included activities will be carried out. The plan will guide how the activities will be conducted and the schedule that should be followed. In that way, all plans will be done without wasting time and leaving some activities incomplete. A plan will also show the responsibilities of each person involved in the community assessment (Taylor, T. (n.d.). Sharing of duties will make it easy and ensure that none of them is left without being attended. The plan thus makes everything run smoothly.
The socioeconomic situation of a community affects the strategy used in meeting the community needs. When planning for the resources required, the available resources in the community have to be sought to determine whether they will be enough in meeting the needs of the community. The participation of community members also counts. If the population receiving help is not ready to assist, then the strategy would be affected (Taylor, T. (n.d.). The availability of resources from other places has to be considered to determine whether the community needs are met.

When selecting the strategy, there are different other factors which should be considered. Support from authority is one of the factors. Any community plans made have to be approved by the leaders in the community. Educating community members is the other factor. In that way, people will be aware of the strategy that will be applied and willing to offer any help possible for the success of the change to be implemented. The training and advocacy days have to be planned out to ensure that it does not interfere with daily community activities.
