In this case, I belong to young entrepreneur group which is secondary form of group made of people I have known in school and at work place. The main purpose of this group is not for member socialization rather the goal is come up with successful investment ideas. However, running of a group of people with a common objective is not easy as every individual views things or situation different from others.
De-individuation situation are the most common within the groups whereby members lack self-awareness. In this case, members of the group contribute different towards the goal of the group. Lack of self-awareness when other members are contributing less compared to other (Bishop, 2013). Thus, these members end up having a low morale and ability to recognize themselves with the group environment. On the other hand, group encounters social loafing where members are contributing less than they could have done as individual. The existence of self-loafing results to group being non-productive as members are increasing hence putting less effort towards the objectives intentionally (Hall and Buzwell, 2013). Psychologists have linked social loafing to the inability of people to work together due to their differences. Similarly, social facilitation has the same group attributes as social-loafing. In social facilitation people will tend to perform differently in the presence of others depending on their attitude towards the task (Ward, 2012).

According to the Asch Conformity research the opinions group members are influenced by those of others. In such cases, people tend to ignore the reality of the situation and give answers which are inappropriate so that they can conform to other members of the group (Claidière and Whiten, 2012). The research revealed that people in social groups will accept the views of others even if they are wrong to avoid being ridiculed. For instance, in the entrepreneurial group, a member or members may have a feasible investment idea but fail to present as they believe other are smarter.
