His learning needs are necessary and would impact his career positively in relation to the advancement of technology. It would not be at all surprising if he dismissed the opportunity terming it unimportant and non-effective. This theory builds one's confidence by making them believe in their individual development distinctively without the effector input of others. However, the experience is cognitive development through the interaction of environment information and ideas. Ultimately, the objective of all these ventures will be as a result of both assimilation and accommodation.

What kinds of self-motivation does Bill have? Discuss ways in which Bill will apply elements of the affective domain in this learning project .

Bill has managed to keep his business small despite close proximity to other open expansion spaces around him. He is intrigued by his mastery of what he does and the ability to solve problems. He is competent. His eight years’ experience serves as his foundation and cornerstone of his self-confidence. However, there is a need for more knowledge conceptually because of the dynamic technology in his field hence threat to new arising problems to be solved. His acquaintance with identifying, understanding and addressing the learning process will definitely play a big role in sailing through the training period. During the learning project, he will be to selectively focus on the important and most impactful knowledge and avoid time wasting which is a limited commodity to him. Additionally, he will be quick to learn.

How can Bill apply the cognitive concept of metacognition and its extension, reflexivity, from constructivist theory? How do Piaget’s ideas on assimilation and accommodation apply to this example of adult learning ?

The processes used for monitoring, planning and assessing one's understanding and performance are of great importance in this scenario. Challenging himself by being open to other sources of knowledge, Bill can improve his self-awareness and know his knowledge level. Reflexivity- the principle of the two-way feedback loop is a good proof beyond reasonable doubt that one can alter environmental perception as well as the individual's change being induced by the environmental perception. Bill's believe about sole human development without interference from others can be challenged successfully by these concepts. Adults learning mostly involves the addition of knowledge to an already existing one. Assimilation may prove difficult if the information being added does not align with the internal experiences of the recipient. They end up considering it unimportant. Accommodation, on the other hand, will involve changing the mental representation of the external world so as to fit new experiences.

What other elements or characteristics of constructivist learning theory might he apply here? How can he learn what he needs to learn as quickly and as thoroughly as possible ?

Learning should be an active process with interactions between the instructor and the learners. Constructive elaboration is where learners construct understanding together which would not have been possible alone due to collaboration among learners. The context in which the learning occurs is central to the learning itself. Being exposed to knowledge that enables gain and practice skills in both simple and complex tasks authentically would make him learn what he wants faster.
