An individual’s cultural is the result of their beliefs and the kind of exposure that the have been exposed in the course of their life. According to sociologists, the phenomenon of cultural orientation is one of the major results of the social and cognitive beliefs that an individual subscribes to in the course of their life. While many do not agree on the extent of influence that the exposure one has to build their cultural orientation towards a specific group of people, there is consensus that it do play a part on their beliefs and behavioral patterns. The following are some of the key factors that influence one individual cultural orientation: Education, Inter-personal relationships, Social Identity and Cognitive beliefs. In essence, the aforementioned factors are identified as being the key drivers of social cultural orientation because they greatly influence the views and beliefs of a person within a particular period. 

Research shows that the sentiments of an individual perception of cultural orientation is dependent on the information that they have and the underlying beliefs about a certain culture. It therefore, in an organizational setting, help to construct the particular set of values, attitudes and the beliefs that one holds towards a specific behavioral pattern (Paul, 2018). Therefore, organizational culture is defined as the set of beliefs and cultural characteristics that guide a company’s actions. A sports manager may use such strategies such as developing a cultural policy that establishes rules of interaction, creating several activities that promote cohesion, regularly training and developing skills of the sportsmen in cultural sensitivity. Moreover, the sports manager develops cultural sensitivity curriculum that he or she may integrate in the main course. Research such strategies are essential nurturing a culturally diverse work environment within an organization. The in-roods to achieving cultural diversity depends on the use an all-inclusive approach that essentially helps to drive all the members towards a common goal.

Noteworthy the success or failure of such initiatives depends on the methodological approach used to implement the outlined strategies. The above strategies increase the awareness of cultural sensitivity within the organization because it helps to increase their understanding of the concept. Other possible strategies that the manager can use to increase cultural sensitivity include eliminating all forms discriminatory policies that may exist within the organization (Baeker, 2002). Notably, advancing cultural diversity requires that there exists a form of equality, not only in the way that people interact, but also in the way that assignment are issued to the members of the team. 

There are various sport organization across the world that have adopted an all-inclusive approach in that has helped to achieve cultural cohesion. These organizations attribute their success to the creation of an environment that is guided by the principles of equality and inclusivity. While there is still exist some small elements of cultural conflict in the sports industry, there has been tremendous success in the eefo5rts made to increase cultural orientation because of the growth of the sports industry. NBAS team, a perfect example of a culturally sensitive organization. The composition of the team is not only diverse but also uphold strong values of cultural cohesion. The characteristic is a strength because it helps to improve performance and teamwork in the organization. Moreover, it has transformed the organization in a global example of the positive impact of cultural orientation.
