After reading chapter 15 in “Managing Human Resources,” the concept that poses challenges in understanding it is one of cultural training. Regarding the concept, the various differences that prevail between cultures signify a key aspect attributed to international business operations. Furthermore, the comprehending the idea of cultural training presents challenges mostly when it comes to understanding the capability of individuals in understanding ways of doing things in line with recognizing the changes that are not possible to make abruptly without significant antagonism and resistance in the case of the local nationals. Many countries usually focus on cultural dimensions attributed to their needs, values, goals, and attitudes regarding work. In this sense, failure to have understanding of the cultural differences when offering training poses challenges when it comes to identifying and comprehending work motivation and attitudes among individuals from distinct cultures (Snell, Morris, & Bohlander, 2016, p. 595) . In this sense, the ideal of cultural training is crucial to lay conservable emphasis on because of the problems it causes when managers wish to recruit individuals from different countries but face hindrances attributed to understanding the attitudes and behaviors that people from distinct cultures portray, which would match organizational goals.
