What would you consider when selecting training methods (e.g., classroom, on-the-job, Behavioral Modeling?

There are a number of things that one can consider when selecting training methods. One such element is the benchmark against competition. This concerns undertaking a review regarding customers` opinions on an organizations products; an aspect that ensures that the business is in a position to know the preferences of its clientele. Secondly, a survey of employees has to be conducted since they are well aware of the issues regarding to the needs and performance of the organization ( Nathan, 2016 ). Thirdly, training has to be aligned with management goals in order to come up with viable techniques for attaining targeted outcomes. Also, the teachings have to be run like one runs a business ( Nathan, 2016 ). This means that a strategic plans should be developed regarding all the training amenities required. Besides, training has to be woven into the culture of the Company since this will manage to attain employee satisfaction. One has also to consider the innovations taking place by ensuring that the training methods are up to date. Finally, results from the training session have to be measured so that it can be determined whether the desired outcome has been attained.

The job of the Brand Manager of a mobile phone company would appeal best to this question. This would require the individual to come up with appropriate strategies which can be used in marketing the mobile phone accessories. Besides, it would also be required that the individual continually strengthens the Company`s brand. The training method appropriate for employees in this job are: Benchmark against competition since this would ensure that the manager is an a position to know how customers perceive the Company`s products via social media and via the customer reviews. Another important training technique would be incessant innovation. This is necessary for the edification of an organization`s brand. How would you measure the effectiveness of the training you described?

While measuring the effectiveness of the benchmark against competition, the Brand Manager can check on the record of sales over the next quarterly duration after the Company has conformed to the expectations of clients. In case the sales are higher, this could imply that customers are satisfied with the products of the Company. Innovation, on the other hand, could be measured by evaluating the popularity of the brand over a specific duration of time, each time a new invention is made.
