The question will serve as a guide for what would be presented as part of the study outcomes.

That means that the researcher will be expected to create different working hypotheses and select one of these hypotheses as to the working hypothesis. The hypothesis can either be supported or disowned by the study conducted, taking into account that the information gathered will act as the primary determinant of expected outcomes in the presentation of findings.
