In the corporate world, there exist three types of organization comprising of Government, Profit and Non-profit and they differ in characteristics. Non-profit organizations operate without the goal of earning profits or directly benefiting from any direct associate. They do make money but only to cover running expenses and pay their employees (Anheier, 2014). For-profit organizations are created with a sole purpose to make profits and benefit its stakeholders. Financial gains, ownership of property and career success are some of the benefits sought from for-profit organizations (Leete, 2015) . Government organizations on the other hand are state agencies created for the responsibility to oversee administration of states functions (Landry et al., 2013) .

The government also offers further education chances to its employees for motivational purposes (Landry et al., 2013) . |

Job location | They are not very many worldwide hence having a choice on where to be located as an employee is difficult. | They are many around the globe although each organization is independent from the other. | Government opportunities are available in almost all locations hence favors individuals choice of settlement. |
Job security | Employees can be confident on their employment since their job is quite secure even during harsh economic times (Leete, 2015) . | Employees are hired and fired on a daily basis hence there is no job security. | When the economy is tough, most government’s employees don’t get affected as much since their employment is stable. |
