Gender inequality has been noted as one of the key social issues affecting the world today, which has created the need for women to embrace feminism as a way of creating an environment that supports the rights of women. Although this has been seen as a key step towards advancing the position of women, it has also raised serious questions on the position of the men. The main issue has been on whether men ought to fight for their position within the same front as the women in the social environment. In that view, this research paper seeks to examine the question ‘Do men need to fight for their rights as feminist women do?’ The paper will reflect on trying to understand the influence that feminism is having on the position of the men in the society. The analysis will help in highlighting whether men ought to consider their positions as being threatened with the aim being towards establishing a framework through which to advance the fight for their rights. The paper will seek to engage in an in-depth analysis of the question with the aim being towards enhancing overall understanding on some of the underlying impacts associated with feminism from the perspective of the men.
