A point from the Abstract: “The research shows that NASA receives substantial project management value from its implementation of EVM ."
One of the points that the abstract makes regarding EVM as a discipline is that its implementation makes NASA to receive a substantial value of project management. This paper is going to prove this point by using the information from other two different sources. The first point to prove this point is that, the implementation of the EVM at NASA offers all the management levels with the visibility of problems related to cost and time earlier before it affects the project (Carmen et al., 2017) . EVM also enables NASA to assess the project’s progress against the planned goals that enhance the provision of information for the pro-active system of management and also gives the project managers a summary of how they can effectively make decisions regarding the project (Carmen et al., 2017) .

The implementation of EVM also enhances NASA’s value of project management by helping to monitor the project activities to understand whether the resources and time are being used correctly and if the project is heading in the direction that it was intended to (Carmen et al., 2017) . The EVM operates with the principle of ensuring that every work that is being carried out is within the budget and that clear communication is facilitated to improve the visibility and accountability of the project (Carmen et al., 2017) .
In conclusion, the implementation of EVM assists NASA in bettering the measurement of its project performance and progress. As a result, NASA can manage to have the valuable insight of the project by being able to integrate the work, schedule and estimate the costs of the project (Choi & Ahn, 2018) . Through the CPI and the SPI, NASA gets the early warnings to make it make the necessary adjustments to focus on the final cost of the project. The ability to track the trends of cost performance and measure it against the planned budget through EVM approach also enables NASA to enhance the project management value (Choi & Ahn, 2018) . Therefore, the information from these sources proves that the point taken from the abstract is true about EVM as a discipline.
