Children require a sound basis for early education and development programs. Different centers have been established to offer the care and education programs children need. Kids Can Community Center and The Omaha Early Learning Centers among the establishment which provide such programs to children. These organizations are guided my mission and visions statements which define their operations, standards, values, employee’s commitment, and future aspirations. Mission and vision statements are essential in the early care and education program centers. They define the activities of the centers which revolve around providing environments which nature children, providing security and preparing them for the future. The vision guides these centers to future operations such as following up the regulations and policies related to early childhood so that they can provide viable education and care for the young ones. The values and standards which guide the staff members are stated in the mission statement as a way of showing that they are qualified (Egert, Fukkink, & Eckhardt, 2018). Early childhood educators have specific skills and personalities which help them to deal with children, such as patients. The mission statement assures the parents that the teachers are skilled and qualified to deal with children without causing mental emotional or physical harm. The quality of the operations as defined in the mission statement which markets the care center and also showing that it is the best choice to enroll children.
Kids Can Community Center, and The Omaha Early Learning Centers are different in various ways. The working hours in the center are different from Kids Can working for twelve hours a day, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Omaha Early Learning Centers start their sessions from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The age of children admitted is different where children from birth to 3 years old are admitted at The Omaha while at Kids Can, the age of children ranges from 18-months to 5-years-old. The mission statement of Kids Can is educating, engaging, and inspiring children in early childhood care and offering out-of-school experiences. The Omaha is guided by the mission of provision of safety, nurturing and child-care services of high quality to the infants and toddlers and preparing then for future (The Omaha Early Learning Centers - OELC's at Gateway Skinner Kennedy, 2018). The curriculum in the two centers is different. At Kids Can, a preschool curriculum is provided while at The Omaha, it offers senior school preparedness since the children are older and ready to join the next educational level. The Omaha has formed partnerships to improve their operations. One of such relations is the Educare and Lincoln, which describes the collaboration between public and private sectors, thus coming up with effective early learning programs. Such partnerships are not seen at Kids Can.

The two centers have various similarities. The first one is the primary goal of assisting children with care and early education programs. The centers involve the parent in the formation of the programs to make sure that they are participating in the educational development of their children. Quality of the services provided in these centers is a crucial factor. Quality is observed with the care and education programs and the staff members who have to be qualified to deal with the children. The curriculum objective of the two centers is guided by the same goals of providing educative and learning programs, and they are based on the Early Learning Framework. There are out of school programs which are meant to prepare children on social interactions. The two centers work with different community partners to ensure that the best services are provided to the children and making effective programs. Kids Can, for example, work with the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands while The Omaha is involved with Lincoln in forming innovative relationships (Kids Can Community Center, 2019). There are various frameworks which are used in the care centers such as the theory of change, out-of-school logic model, and earl childhood logic model to guide the educators on how to relate with children at different levels.
The following recommendations will guide the Kids Can Community Center and The Omaha Early Learning Centers to adhere to their mission and vision statements. The two reports should be integrated. It will be easier when the mission and vision statements are speaking the same language, defining similar goals, and providing the same strategies the centers should use. The future aspirations should also be similar. In that way, the educators will be aware of what is guiding them without being confused about, which should be accomplished first. The two statements should be reinforced through the culture of the centers. The goals, strategies, and operations, as indicated in the statement, should align with the company traditions and values (Freeman, Decker, & Decker, 2017). They should also be a motivating factor to the workers, and that is why the statements should be part pf the employee reviews. New educators should be asked to demonstrate the core values defined in the mission and vision statement to establish if they are aware of the guiding principles. The management should confirm that the mission and vision statements are part of the decision-making process. It will show the importance to the care centers and will be taken seriously by the entire staff members.
