Failure to capture and pass the necessary information through communication may contribute a big loss to the company. In this case, the company is yet to upgrade its website for various reasons. Maybe, the previous marketing coordinator did not pursue the agenda; thus, the managers had no idea that the company website needed an upgrade.
It is also important to note that for any communication to be a success, then it must be directed to the right audience. Most communication plans have failed simply because the proper channel is not followed, (Dalton, 2017). This may also contribute to the wrangles that may be witnessed within the organization. Hence, it should be a practice within every organization that proper channels are put in place. Through this, not even a single piece of information will be left uncaptured thus leading to a successful running of the organization. Additionally, it is also important to have a good relationship with the audience while passing any piece of information now that it will speed up the process of which an action would be taken, (Quirke, 2017).
Another factor to consider while giving communication feedback is the presentation skills. It is necessary that any presentation like a report must be simple and clear so that anybody can understand and support the relevant ideas. Therefore, the in charge must showcase good presentation skills while giving any communication. Moreover, there is a need to ensure that only the relevant information is communicated. This will attract the audience and can easily act on the pieces of information passed in an organization.
For instance, in this case, the message has to be compelling, clear and concise. The marketing coordinator can use graphics to show the difference between a well-designed and poorly-designed website. The message should also be aligned with the goals and the needs of the audience.
Communication is not complete unless an action is taken, (Lindlof, & Taylor, 2017). On this note, it is important to constantly remind the relevant personnel to ensure that nothing is taken for granted. Through this, even the implementation of effective strategic plans will be easy. For the company to remain competitive in the modern market, it must change the way it conducts business., (Hair, et, al, 2015). The company’s website is one of the first areas of contact between the company and potential clients and other stakeholders. A new and improved website will communicate the company’s services and goals to all the stakeholders while marketing the organization.
